Is anyone else seeing some ads on Gelbooru despite Adblock and NoScript? I've got everything up to date.

Switch to uBlock Origin.
You can click an eyedropper to pick whatever element on a page you want blocked, including the stuff on Gelbooru.
Use "Block Element" on Adblock.
Why do you still use gelbooru?

is there anything better to use?

It's worthless, ublock origin can use literally the same filters as adblock but has more features, pre-baked lists that are easy to choose and uses less resources.
Host files is basically the same thing but you can't create exceptions on the fly, butcher page layout a whole lot more and is a pain to update regularly.
Host files should be used when you want a specific url to point to a certain IP, it's not designed to adblock

Copy and paste these into your adblock's filters.
gelbooru.com/script/frontend_loader.js
This one straight up blocks all but one of the ads.
I don't know how to block that last ad (it's the one for the shitty porn mmo or whatever) but you can still hide it.
To hide it on the index pages use:
gelbooru.com###post-list > .sidebar > .sidebar4.sidebar2 > center > iframe
gelbooru.com###post-list > .content > center > div
To hide it on image pages use:
gelbooru.com###right-col > div:nth-of-type(#) > div:nth-of-type(#)
It'll hide comments too, but hey, nothing of value has been lost.

That seems to have done it. Thanks.
