I'm looking at my brand new Skylake computer screen after having just upgraded to Windows 10 last night. I haven't done anything to it besides install my Asus drivers. It's currently a completely virgin Windows 10 installation.
How do I make Windows 10 as private as possible after upgrading?

install tinywall, in settings, go to special exceptions, and uncheck windows update
unless you might use it, all the optional stuff can be removed, network discovery, and time sync.
additionally, you can use the firewall to just block everything so that programs and incoming connections require your permission, or you can just do the same thing but with incoming connections only.

Luckily it isn't compatible with ext4. Install GNU/Linux and dual boot. Only use the botnet for games and things you must use windows for.
