Is there a program I can use to check my motherboard? I think it might be faulty.

No. If there's no visual defect you will have to test the other components to isolate the problem. You can use a multimeter though.

You can try a program called speccy. Google it.

Alright I got it running. Is there something I should be looking for?

Here's a reddit thread I made trying to find out what the problem is.

I've ruled out nearly all other options.

You didn't list reinstalling your OS. You should try that. If you're sure that temps are okay then I'm almost sure it's either this or faulty hardware (probably gpu). Switch around to find the culprit. Use other parts if you have any spares. Maybe your cpu has integrated gpu, it will make things easier if you don't have spares.

Some guy mentioned buying an 80+ psu. I regret not buying one when I built. Could that cause the problem?

You might want to double check your power supply. If that shit breaks, you're fucked. With a 970 too, I recommend at 750w or higher.

Yeah, can't find price for your psu but looks like it's some noname, bad psu often cause problems and in general psu is something you don't want to be cheap about, bad ones can kill half your system with them if something goes wrong, and they often provide less power than they claim.

What a ridiculous looking motherboard. "Hero", "Republic Of Gamers". Another cheesy gaymer rig.
>>
Get a cheap multimeter and test your PSU, here's a guide:

If it's faulty get an EVGA supernova p2, it's reasonably priced, and it's made by superflower using their best components.

That's actually what I was recommend
from another thread.

I might just buy it without checking since my current one is just some no-name piece of trash.
