Hello /wsr/, I was informed that I could ask tech support around here so, here I am.
I have a pic related motherboard in my PC, it has an integrated sound card. Some time ago I started experiencing weird audio issues. After unplugging speakers and plugging in my headphones the sound would sometimes get very glitchy, 'robotic' sort of. It never happened when I was using speakers, only after swapping to headphones. It happened randomly and rather rarely so I paid no mind to it. Yesterday while I was playing with my friends they told me that it is I who sounds glitchy, which never happened before. I could hear them quite fine all the time. Any idea what could be the cause here?
tl;dr integrated sound card, glitchy sound on headphones sometimes, is it dead?

Not dead yet, but this is rather low quality sound card if it's happening.
I hear DA/AD converters tend to fuck up from time to time on crappy or just very old sound cards, not sure if that's the issue here but that's my bet anyway.
If I were you I'd just buy normal sound card, they ain't that expensive, really.

Allright, sounds reasonable. My friend recommended me Asus Xonar DG, would that work well?

Looks good if you're gonna use it for gaming.

sounds like sound card is broken, can be a driver issue but also hardware, get a cheap usb heatset
