Hello /wsr/! I'm trying to build my first PC, and so far, I like to think I have done alright. However, I'd like to ask you /g/uys for advice.
Firstly, here is my current build, I will be getting software from a friend, thus why none is selected. http://pcpartpicker.com/list/
Secondly, I need advice on the motherboard. Is the one I have selected overdoing it? I'm unsure and would rather avoid wasting money on something unneeded.
Lastly, is this build good for gaming? I'm trying to keep to a budget of around 1500, so this seems tricky to me.
Any help is welcomed, thank you!
It's a blank empty part list.

Here's a screencap of the parts
Motherboard looks pretty standard for the build you're doing. Expensive to me is over $150.

Is it adequate for gaming? Like, should it run pretty well?
You really made some nice choices
I might have gone for the K version of the 4790, but either way, nice
I like ASUS motherboards, but either way, very nice
I would need at least a 2TB data drive, but if you think 1 is ok, no problem
Am I seeing TWO monitors? Wow. I also like ASUS monitors, but those are probably ok
Good job - you should be kicking ass for a while
