What's a great anime that isn't entry-level?
Looking for serious/legit answers.
It seems like any time someone recommends a "good" anime others say it's mainstream or entry-level, so what's good that isn't?
By saying "good", are you implying that something cannot be good if it's 'entry-level' or 'mainstream'? Those are just buzzwords anyway, but even when they're applied correctly, why would you care? You shouldn't be judging things based on how many other people like them.
That said, I have a couple of charts like pic related, if that's what you're into.
:^)
I can't really tell from your post how much you've already seen, but if it's less than a few hundred series, you should just watch everything. At least try three episodes of anything you've seen recommended, and don't be afraid to explore various genres. That way, you can build up a good basis for picking and judging stuff on your own in the future.

I just wanna be "cool" man.
But seriously it's because I'm wondering what's the "best of the best" in terms of anime shows and movies, I feel like I've seen most of the shows that get casually recommended already.
