So I just put together a new PC and got a fresh copy of Windows 7 for my OS, and I was trying to adjust the transparency of the taskbar, but that feature isn't available to me, apparently, and automatic driver repair failed.

I need Christmas gift recommendations.

My brother-in-law is a big time nerd (loves LOTR, Star Wars, plays D&D on a regular basis, etc), but not much of a comic book reader. It's not that he dislikes them, he's just never been motivated to pick one up. So what are some damn good trade paperbacks I could buy him?
