I recommend this often and for a lot of reasons but I think you should give Hunter x Hunter 2011 a try.

It's one of the few shows where even if I try, I simply cannot find any plot holes. Everything fits together perfectly. And the character development for both Gon and Killua is astoundingly good. I think if you liked FMAB you'd definitely be able to get into it.

to me, there's just something about cities and how they bring people together, over and over and over again, making paths cross and recross, that make me feel like anytime I go out, fate will play me a melody

well, that's just the "it's a small world" aspect of the urban life, if you're looking for hip-hoppy, or work environment types, I don't know any

well, Durarara!! sort of has most urban life staples...

color gangs, geek culture, news reporters, web chat rooms, gossip, debtors, mafia, city schools, city stores and public places, crime, stalkers, companies, drug rings...

and its charming aesthetic comes from the abnormal side...

a dullahan, urban legends, Russian assasins, demonic swords, the underground, superhuman strength, psychopaths...

ok, i might just be disregard for this due to the nature of the request, but fuck it. i'm looking for a series of oc flipnotes( from flipnote hatena) about a series where a class of highschoolers are put into a new world and are given some powers/ "magic" weapons( going off 6 year memory here), and the main protagonist has a dark past( yea yea, cliche i know, stick with me) about where her parents were a pair of muders called "the bloody dollar"(or something like that) and was taunted by this (insert insult here) girl, causing her to lash out in a rage
thats all i can remember, pretty good compared to the other shit that was out there, fuck, maybe could have been made into an anime(also fuck that is a wall of vomit)

also, dump any flipnote you nignogs might have laying around, the whole site got shut down and no one saved it to the internet archive, so anything you got might be the only copy around
