You give way too much credits to Polaris being able to plan anything. I would assume he took a B2 Visa (6 months tourist visa) while waiting for his 'delayed' O1B Visa to be rejected. Make sense.

However, not going to coxcon because of this is BS. The 6 months B2 Visa would actually end around end of July, so anyway he would need to go back to the UK right for coxcon. And if his O1B visa is accepted before that (yea right), then he can go back UK at any time. And beside, Dodger has no restriction go to the UK, beside being away from her fuck toy for 4 days.

Finally, B2 Visa explicitly prohibit working (or studying) during the stay in the US. Sam is getting his ass in major trouble if US custom is made aware of this.
