you take the video and load it into a converter. convert it into AVI.
then you delete the i frames in that video you want to glitch and cut it together with other video material.
the missing i frames are llike a road map for the compression algorythm.
the resulting output video will produce glitches which can differ depending on your video player and the codecs you have installed.
one glitched video may look completely different on multiple computers. for that reason, you direct capture the playing video + glitch and output it into a non damaged video file. this is also where the conversion from AVI to any other format is done.

now you have a finished glitch video.
