The plot is ham fisted because of the way that it is being introduced in the show, they are introducing characters way to early and giving no explanation of them being there. As for the fedora, it was supposed to be a porkpie, but i guess they thought that would look worse. In the books, some shit is introduced way later, and it makes it flow a lot better. They should have focused more on holden, and less on the earth government. As it stands right now, miller is the main character in the TV series, while holden is the main character in the books.

I made the very first one of these threads when they'd just added audio webm support here almost a full year ago, and I have to say this:
Can you please _not_ start every Movies & TV thread with yet another webm from the same fucking TV show? Every month, it's another new TV & movies thread starting with yet another lame Person of Interest webm - and always with a shitty blank or bland thumbnail.

The OP webm is supposed to be attention grabbing or worthy of at least some discussion, and yet you'll notice that *nobody* ever quotes your OPs because nobody seems to give two shits about Person of Interest.
We get it. It's your favorite show. But no single series/movie deserves to be the poster child for every goddamn TV & Movies w/ Audio thread.

I can make MULTIPLE audio webms of the opening sequence, but it's way too long to make one good webm of it (with or without the audio).

One single decent quality webm with audio at 4MB needs to be less than 30 seconds long. Even when the video encoder is set to two pass, 800K.
