The biggest ships in EVE online are Titans and they can be used to open warp gates so that whole fleets can drop onto the enemy. They also can warp themselves and the buttons for each are PRETTY FUCKING CLOSE.

Titans are worth few thousand dollars and are the result of tons of players in different corporations pooling resources, so tossing one into battle escalated things. The enemy alliances scrambled their own capital ships and the guys who accidentally tossed a Titan in adapted, setting the new goal of hitting enemy capitals. Everything on standby was thrown into the mix.

The location where the battle happened was a little strange as well. It was in low security space rather than no security space, where most of the huge battles happen. Titans can't use their super weapons there, so it's not even worth bringing them. It's also much closer to the places most densely populated with players and as one of the Alliances involved was primarily composed of somethingawful shitters, much hated by everyone, calls were made and tons of groups showed up to the fight.

You're right in that parrying doesn't take much dexterity, but you're being a bit disingenuous. Taking the Daigo vid into account, once he initiates the first parry its just getting the rhythm down of the rest of the sequence. Which is slowed down considerably.

What is impressive about this is the jump in to SA at the end of her combo. Daigo knew he would have to punish in that way in order to kill Justin given the amount of bar that was left. A safer bet would be to punish straight into the SA, but instead he did the jump in into it to cause max damage. To be able to throw out that punish on the fly like that and not drop it, takes a ton of muscle memory and a ton of poise.

So i'll give you a 7/10

I'm 78 weeks into my latest game, had one party wipe (bad combination against the Pounder), and only 3 or so individual instances of a single death. I've retreated twice besides that.

The trick to the fights is to reduce your enemies' ability to attack (take out one or two quickly, or stun them). If you get the right damage boosting items, you can really whore out the multi-enemy attacks.
