I have just about every bump made to date so if we wanted I could make a channel and upload them all there. The issue is that it then gives a concrete webzone for all these bumps and might bring too much attention. Also we can never really find the creators for every bump for sure. These threads havre been going for almost a year now an I'm certain that some ppl dont lurk here anymore.

For the record, I personally would like the stream to get more attention/viewers. Seeing that viewer number is what keeps me going honestly and having more people enjoy it feels awesome. I think that it is one of the more unique experiences on the internet and want people to enjoy it. I was considering streaming on youtube/facebook for a while but I never got around to it. After switching to UStream from instagib, I didn't see the need to besides more easily sharing things.

The thing is that one of the things that attracts people to 4chan is the sense of anonymity and lack of a central leadership. Once an owner needs to be ascribed to something, it gets troublesome.

I think many people (oldfags in particular) really enjoy this secret club idea and as 4chan has increased in popularity over the years and after every summer we slowly lose that a little bit at a time. This feels inevitable as these threads have grown in the last year but we need to remember that what makes this so special is the collective feeling of the thread and bumps. I think thats the conundrum this channel falls into a lot. Do we wanna share these bumps so more people can see them? But at the same time do we also risk losing that small community feel? Its strange but personally I make these bumps to entertain people so hey the more people watch and like them the better y'know? Just my opinion though.

It's a strange balance I suppose. Personally I make bumps because I learned through [wsg] that video editing is pretty fun. Plus it's nice to relax and look through bumps sometimes. I will admit that I do get a tinge of joy when I see one of my bumps reposted or commented on though. It feels nice knowing that someone else has liked what you've made.

I realized after this post that I wasn't done yet.
In my opinion, another important aspect of the bumps as "art" from 4chan is that they are ephemeral, which is why I am fine if you want to stream them somewhere, but I don't like them existing permanently on youtube. This is because I have no interest in attention, but instead am here to share neat ideas and bumps with other bump making anons.
