just do -crf and enter a number between 4 and 63, 32 halves the filesize
crf stands for constant rate factor and makes sure the bitrate is constant throughout, 4 is highest rate 63 is lowest
bitrate also has a different lowest value depending on the what resolution you're going with so just make sure to use something like -1:360 or -1:480 for scale
-crf is an easy way of trimming off bitrate and lowering the filesize without having to change the -b:v all the time, i usually go with -crf 4 first to see how big the file is with max bitrate then change it to a higher number until it's acceptable

i make sure to have all the necessary settings saved in a .txt file in the same folder
