There is so much genius in this scene when it comes to horror elements. The quick change to Megune's eye at the moment of impact. The visual of the smashed tomato to show blood without really showing it. The sudden removal of music. The split second you can barely see Kurumi's eyes (though not very well in that wemb) where you can see a very crazied and frighten look. The cut to black and no sound of every impact of that shovel being driven in that allows the mind to fill the gap of just how horrid it really is.
