nah m8 the nugget is great for arming millions of idiotic russian peasants to rape and murder germans by the thousands and does this very reliably and very well in the harshest conditions, but it has its drawbacks
>>
>>1729373
So that's how a suppressor booster works
>>
>>
>>1729280
Also why you shouldnt use 9mm.
>>
>>1729444
The stripper clip doesn't actually go inside the chamber or magazine of a Mosin Nagant like an M1 Garand. It has a rest aft of the chamber that it sits on for loading. It's not the world's greatest rifle, but that's not a particularly valid complaint.
>>
>>
>>1729478
>>1729444
The trick to it is to line the rims up so they overlap in the order they'll be fired in, grab the first round by the bullet and shove them down with your thumb on the same hand. The clip will fall out of the way, the rounds will load in a way that almost never jams.
>>
>>
>>1729483
>>1729478
i am well aware that of these things considering that i own one. the stripper clips are very stiff and make it tough to load bullets with them smoothly (considering you have to keep in mind not overlapping the rims so they don't lock over each other and prevent them from being chambered). rifles like the mauser and the arisaka automatically push the striper clip out of the way as you push the bolt forward to chamber the first round, whereas with a mosin, you must first remove the stripper clip manually before chambering a round. it's not a humongous complaint since i'm not a russian soldier in stalingrad, but i'd argue that combat isn't the place to be keeping in mind little tricks that are actually vital to the correct, uninterrupted functioning of your rifle. but still, it's a fun rifle to shoot and certainly did it's job.

Drop fire is a meme and all modern firearms have safeties preventing this, there are recalls over guns being able to be drop fired. Noguns are always freaking out and judging shit off of what they know about guns from movies. They are idiots for having a gun up because it can fall and damage the finish or the gun not from it going off.

From what I can gather, it was the La Croix de Guerre, awarded to him during the Battle of Verdun.
"The Croix de Guerre may either be awarded as an individual or unit award to those soldiers who distinguish themselves by acts of heroism involving combat with the enemy. The medal is awarded to those who have been "mentioned in dispatches", meaning a heroic deed or deeds were performed meriting a citation from an individual's headquarters unit. The unit award of the Croix de Guerre with palm was issued to military units whose members performed heroic deeds in combat and were subsequently recognized by headquarters."

It's actually an experimental weapon that was developed to damage run away tanks. In the 70s, soviet engineers attempted to install a personality into some of their tanks, which inevitably ran away. For fear of destroying a tank completely they would use one of these to damage it and make it easier to catch.

Can you even get sound out of high speed cameras? It's not bad it's very hollywood.
>>
>>1736548
physics wise, yes, you could record sound at an absurd sample rate. It's going to sound like shit with massive frequency distortion however which is why nobody does it.

LAV's videos sound like a mixture of Counter-Strike 1.6 sound effects combined with somebody tipping over a snap-on toolbox. It's super fake, which irks me.
>>
>>1736548

The dudes from Slow Mo guys covered stuff like this, they just add the sounds from a library played back at half or quarter speed.

All the remaining caseless ammunition for the G11 is probably being held in a Heckler & Koch facility.
You're more likely to find G11 dummy cartridges than the real caseless cartridge. As far as I know the G11 caseless cartridge (4.73×33mm) was exclusive to the G11 and has never been designed to work with any other available firearm.
