Since I have nowhere else to post this, and since I have no one to talk about this with, I'll post it here. I tried Kundalini for the first time today. I wasn't expecting it to be as intense or vivid as it was, but my mind is freshly fucked. Right towards the apex, when I had completely lost track of myself and was fully projected outward, I saw a lion on the Savannah making a fresh kill, then a hippo bathing a nearby river. I realized that I had embodied a tree. I saw a human for a second, before it dissipated. I pushed a bit further, and ended up following a photon traveling between two electrons. I held that for as long as I could, and eventually, my perspective began to flicker between that photon, and a view of the universe from a distant point. It felt really intense, so I think my body instictually jolted forward, and I was instantly conscious again.

I think that's what an out of body experience feels like, but I've never had one before, so I can't tell. My takeaway, if there could be any, is that we (we being the collective human consciousness of the past 10,000 years) are a cache of synapses, pulsating and shifting down a linear, fixed route through spacetime. Like the path of a photon, just on a much larger scale.

You put the camera on some kind of dolly, then you zoom out as you bring the camera closer to the object. Then you zoom in as you bring the camera away from the object. Then you speed the footage up. Since the object takes up as much space in the frame, it'll look like the background is moving.
