It's pretty good. It's basically Rider but with really really terrible Sentai mech fights. Like, they're horrendous because the mechs look like dad made them in his workshop and threw globs of paint at the bits, and the fights amount to "Stand around, maybe slash once, get completely smashed and destroyed, and then use your finisher to win". But the out-of-suit and in suit fights, characters (Barring Cao Cao), and fight locations are all great. I've definitely had a good amount of fun.

One thing to note is that I'm pretty sure the guy behind their translating (It's official by the way, it's by the company that made it) is ESL at the very least because tons of sentences are worded badly or using words that make absolutely no sense at times like "He will be vanished" is used constantly in the latest episode in various ways.

I wanted to post some clips of Zyuranger from the DVDs I just got in the mail, but literally whatever I set the limit to WebM for Retards can't do it. If I say the limit is 3mb, it'll get about 80% of the 30 second 640x480 clip done and say it couldn't finish the last five seconds, and if I lower the resolution, it says the exact same thing, getting the last five seconds cut off.

When I increased the limit to 4mb though, it did the exact same thing. So I'm at a loss for what to do.

You don't use the size limit ever because it just cuts things off and the same goes for using the automatic bitrate since it's unreliable. You go by manual bitrate and resolution. For 640 x 480 try around 700 for a 30 second one, if it doesn't fit then go to 600 or 500 with double pass.

Oh, and if you end up with a webm that's got a smaller filesize than you expected because of that just up the bitrate so it doesn't look like absolute garbage with blocks everywhere. Always try to fill out the full 3/4MB if you can as long as it doesn't cost you visual quality. You don't need a high resolution if it's going to look like someone stuck beer goggles on your face when anything moves, it's a delicate balance of both bitrate and resolution.

I can't help you with that one as I had the same problem when it came to making an Akibarangers webm. The sound was completely out of sync from everything by like a second and I didn't even notice it until I uploaded it. You can try doing it manually through ffmpeg as that usually fixes errors like that for me but it's a way longer process.

Haven't watched Jetman myself, most people say it has some drama but is pretty good regardless. If you want some solid series as a start you have Abaranger, Dairanger, Megaranger, Gekiranger, Shinkenger, Kyoryuger, and I would say Zyuohger as well. People also say Boukenger and Dekaranger are pretty good to start with but I can't attest to that. If you want wacky you have Sun Vulcan, Carranger (Haven't watched myself), Kakuranger, Go-Onger, and I guess ToQger. If you want something on the more serious side there's Go-Busters (By this I mean just a slight bit more serious, it's not like Kuuga levels or anything, more like OOO I guess would be the right way to put it) and Jetman.

As always you can watch the latest airing series (Kyuranger) as well.

It's just kinda so-so I would say. Naga, Balance, Lucky, and occasionally Shao are the only ones who really get any time devoted to them so far while the rest either get one-off stories or got pushed to the wayside, fights are pretty alright, and suits are alright.

Honestly, I'd say Zyuohger felt more composed so far, right now it's mainly all over the place and doesn't know how to handle 11 characters at all without getting rid of a couple of them for a bit. Hammy and Spada get picked a bunch but either don't really get to do anything or are just there to play backup and then when they go back to the ship Spada just blathers on about how amazing food is and gives everyone food. Raptor and Garu may as well not even exist at times.

I was thinking they might see the downside of having so many characters and instead choose the base five (So something like red, blue, yellow, green, pink) and have maybe RyuCommander join the crew as the sixth since he's got the pimp cane to sell. Then you could just have the rest of the crew's mechs as random teammates they find while using the remaining Ranger suits either as an enemy Ranger team, or as some side characters that pass on their mechs to the main team.

Let's also not forget Saban is a cheap man. I think he's going to weigh reshoots vs having a full cast of 11 rangers to pay salaries for without even counting villains that he has to pay for. You could easily just reshoot ground fights, or you could even make it so they have a gimmick where they can use the other rangers' Kyutamas to transform into their suits, that way you have the five "main" colors that can also turn into Scorpio/Champ/Naga/Balance/Kotaro meaning your reshoots are left to a minimum.

depends on how straight of an adaptation it ends up being, they'd probably still have about half of the team be suit characters(Blue, Black, Silver, Pink, Violet/Commander), so they'd only need 6 actual actors for a Kyuranger adaptation for the team

Sacrifice resolution over Bitrate, but there's a certain point where it doesn't matter and always try to max out on the 3-4MB limit if you can because you want it to look nice. Remember that 3060 and 4080 are your sweet spots respectively when it comes to the listed size on Webm for Retards.

Once you reach about 40 seconds or longer you're going to be at like 320p for it to look decent and sitting at anywhere from 300 bitrate to 650 if you're lucky with a mandatory double pass. For 20 seconds you should be able to hit a minimum of 420p, maybe 480p if you're lucky with a minimum bitrate of around 1200, if you have to go lower without it looking blocky/blurry everywhere drop the resolution to 360p and work around it, there's no reason you should be going lower than that for 20ish seconds. 10-15 seconds is basically 480p and you can sometimes hit 540p depending on the action, you can hit 720p if it's like 10 seconds but it really depends on the amount of action because you need a minimum bitrate of around 2400 for it not to look horrible and I really don't recommend it.

Always remember that the more quick movements there are, the more explosions there are, and the more greenery there is the higher bitrate you are going to need before it turns into a screenshot of Minecraft with DOF mods enabled.

For sound I usually just do 64 since ones I personally make with sound are pretty long, but if it's a reasonably long webm (Like 20-30 seconds) 128 is usually fine. I've never gone past that personally.

Basically, don't use Webm for Retards or FFMPEG's auto stuff for bitrate, it just ends up chopping off the end of the video if it doesn't fit or it makes it terribly blocky to fit and never looks good. Always do it manually if possible and just fiddle with it, constantly putting up the finished video on your browser to make sure it looks good because that's how people will be seeing it. You've got frames down which is always my big pet peeve.
