I thought that was the point of the Arkham games - if you wanted the story but didn't care about the score you could lazily power through the fights and get back to the story. However, if you were more interested in the fights you could lay on some serious style and get combo multipliers that increase your score. The video does a great job trivializing the fighting system, but if you pay attention to the top-left of the screen he never gets more than 2X - meaning his overall score is piss-poor and easy to top.

Well, there was a lot more CG techniques prelavent in the industry by the time The Batman came out that made doing fight scenes easier, and therefore enabled more dynamic better looking fights.

The art style might also better enable that, Spectacular Spiderman for instance had a very strange character artstyle that feels like it was solely done to better facilitate better looking, more acrobatic fights.

But whilst The Batman may have had the better fights, I think the Bruce Timm series had the more defining take on Batman and his rogues gallery. It gave us (for good or ill) Harley Quinn, and largely created the character of Mr Freeze that we know today, and was a springboard for Timm to go on for bigger and better things culmulating in the magnum opus that was JLU.

Anyone got anything from Brave & the Bold? That show was a glorious tribute to the silver age.

I think Arkham Knight is probably one of the "coolest" games out there, it's all very stylish and well presented, no budget or presentation issues anywhere, all very well choreographed and executed with an inherent sense of overall style.

As a fighting game its solid, but still too new to list off whos the best character considering patching is needed. Character model Customization isnt a new thing to fighting games but Injustice adds some good elements to the armor parts you collect (skills and new partials to special moves.). I think it needs some polishing here and there but yah its good. As for the story its just as crazy as the comic.

Don't get me wrong, the casting was great in most parts but the shoehorning of Joker without really having him being apart of the story and the whole story being around Amanda Waller having a mistake was stupid. IJverse Diana is literally 90% of the reason why that universe got as fucked up as it did. She literally enabled every bad idea Supes has and kills people to make them happen.
They even reference in 2 and she basically all but admits that she doesn't give a fuck, she's just so thirsty for that Kryptonian superdick.

Yeah, what's weird is how it takes Superman straight up lobotmising Billy Batson in front of him to get the Flash to realise that he's working with the Bad Guys.
