"Wild animals are wild" is something that surprises an annoyingly high amount of people.

Should generally steer clear of anything dog sized or larger. Unless you're on a farm. And even then it's a good idea.

Damn cows. Sometimes they're smart, sometimes they're dumb, but they're always kinda pissed off at one thing or another.
>>
>>1707184
This. I have two male ovcharka/caucasian shepherds. They are giant dogs, just under 200 pounds apiece of teeth and muscle. A giant, ancient race of dogs...and when I'm out, stupid people (women mostly) go and reach out their hands to touch these dogs without asking as if (1) the dog was theirs but more importantly (2) as if the dog wasn't big and strong enough to rip their arm off if it wanted. They have no concept of fear.

Now, the Africans and Arabs and Eastern Europeans who come from a harsher life, they steer clear of my dogs when they see them. My dogs are well-behaved and very disciplined, but the Africans sometimes cross the street...just in case. Westerners, though, they stretch out their fingers to the dog...so ignorant.
>>
>>1711122
What the fuck are you talking about
>>
>>1710561
You don't hear about the other attacks because they're all DEAD
>>
>>1711136
anon walking a dog around in public is not the same thing as wild animals being wild.
If that dog hurts someone that's because you're a shit dog owner, not because "no concept of fear".
Now, a WILD dog running around in public? then they're the dumb ones trying to stick their hands out at it.
>>
>>1711219
Cows always seem to have this underlying sense of bitchiness to them. Like a mean girl from Mean Girls. Not to say that some of them aren't sweet; but they can get very moody sometimes, especially if they're hungry or thirsty or something.

Orcas are worryingly smart. That dude was perfectly okay swimming with them since there's only one recorded instance of an orca attacking someone in the wild and it let him go immediately. I think they know better. They're an animal that can beach themselves to get seals, use a bow wave to knock them off of ice floes, and will bring them out to deeper waters to let their young practice hunting them. They even know how to use bait- several were seen to throw up near the surface, wait for seagulls to come down to feed, then grab them.

They can also be kinda cheeky, see vid.

One of the things hagfish do is release massive amounts of mucus to suffocate predators that get too close or bite them. It's designed to suffocate the gills of whatever is trying to eat them. I believe the knotting is one of the ways they help release the mucus.

Read the Koran man, Arabs and Africans avoid dogs because of the prophet Mohammed. Think of the violent shitholes these people live in, and then think why would they be afraid of some mutts.

People want to touch your dog's because they are domesticated. And if your dog's ever hurt anyone, they would be put down. And it would be YOUR fault

Can confirm some sea cukes like the anus fish (they go in tail first if you were wondering, and they have sex in there).
Some of them can also eject all their intestines out of their mouth to deter predators. Others reverse their gills out of their anus to scare off predators. Why do I know so much about sea cucumbers?

The amazing part about this is, its only one family of orcas who does that. One Matriarch female supposedly started doing that and it caught on and they teach it their young now.

Much like the ones in Argentinia who beach themselves to get the seals. That was a bigass male patriarch who started doing that and taught the other and the young ones

My favourite animal by far.
