Humans are hardwired to gather and hoard resources. That being said, there are wealthy people who do try to do good for the human species. There is a Russian billionaire trying create affordable immortality for everyone, Elon Musk is trying to get us to the real space age. There are angel investors who spend their fortunes investing in companies that would otherwise not have any funding because they believe they will make a difference. Yeah, some are just investing, however, that is expected. If someone who want to do good they will use their resources to do so, if they covet more they will use their resources to aquire more. When I say resources I mean more than just currency, networks, intelligence, charisma, etc.

On top of all of that, why should they? Would most people do the same for them? No, look around at the people surrounding you. This is not something limited to the wealthy. With the wealthy it is just more noticeable. Lowlifes don't care about anything and engage in self destructive and short sighted behaviors. Normal people take care of themselves. A good person takes care of themselves and their family. A person who goes beyond that for more than virtue signalling or power is rare indeed.

Where are you getting this? I am for the eradication of all shitskins yet I do not believe more than .001% of people in power actually care about the lower classes.
