I still expect that the wall has the best chance of all his campaign promises to be made real, although I wouldn't be surprised if it would be watered down. True, but the point isn't personal taste or a philosophical discussion about the meaning of marriage.
Even if I disapproved of what consenting adults do in private, it would be a waste of time and energy to go after it, as long as you don't put cameras into every bedroom. If people bash gays just for being gay then that's their right but they aren't focused on the bigger issues.
Gay 'marriage' on the other hand is just a tool for destroying the traditional family. Yes the origin of the institution of marriage is because of the responsibilities of procreation. However there is no reason why the definition may not change over time. Today marriage has come to represent people who have joined together in a union to live and work together while normally pooling together financial resources.
