Do yourself a learn, friend.

They are notable not just for being a large leftist student movement, but for their fearlessness vs riot police.
They defeated the tokyo riot police on several occasions, forcing them to flee and managed to build a fortress to protest the building of an airport.

Whatever your politics, I think you have to atleast admire them in comparason to modern day rioting which is disorganised as fuck by comparison.
