That's mostly because it's just the punchline without the setup, but even then it's kind of a weak joke.
Kind of like when people ran the Homer falls down a cliff into the ground. It's a long, painful sequence more gore than comedy. It's not funny by itself. But you see it in the episode, half an hour long of serious intergenerational drama and, when they finally have a heartfelt moment of enfranchisement and camaraderie, the emotional climax to a feelgood lifetime movie, then comes Homer's jump. Just when it looks like he's going to make it...

It's funny because it shits on the established structure of family shows(and a bit because it also shits on Homer, everything that could go wrong just). not because haha fat man fell.

Does anyone have the webm of Homer drinking the love-potion, and then breaks into Bart's room?
