My 'created' webm folder stands at 762, it's very easy to get carried away.
https://a.pomf.cat/uvvgfu.webm
I gotta say, I'm really enjoying the fact how many webm's are being posted right now and how EVERY post has a webm attached to it.
Not a single post is being wasted, good job people.

I'm using 4chanx to download the files, that way the names are kept.

Oh believe me, I know that feel VERY well... I once posted around 12 or more Berserk webm's in a row, and then did it again a few days later or something.
I sadly can't remember the exact numbers for sure anymore.
>>1647655
I have far less created.
Back in the day I thought something like webm for my favorite clips would be perfect. Once webm became a thing I never bothered to go make some without rewatching the entire series.
Issac and Miria are a miracle.
>>1647655
I don't even know how many I've created since I just save them to the same folders as the ones I save off 4chan, but it's considerably less than that. If I had to estimate it'd probably be more around 150, and half those are soundless ones I made for /a/.

Sorry about that, for a second I thought I had accidentally uploaded the wrong file, when it turns out that I hadn't.

The best way to summarize it would be "dude slapstick lmao".
Only a handful of episodes thus far have been memorable in my view, but if slapstick/gag humor and a laid-back, comedy-centric approach is your thing, it might suit your tastes.
No Guzma so far. It'll likely be a while before we see him. We're only six months into the new series.

Straing. The scene is mostly animated on 3s. Dropping 2 out of 3 frames shouldn't be noticeable I think.
Well, looks like VP8's bitrate control is a piece of crap and can't deal with VBR.
CRF works but requires fiddling.
>>1649457
if you put a deinterlace function before the frame drop in the filterchain it'll smooth out the motion so you won't lose crucial frames just duplicate ones
>>1649466
The source isn't interlaced. And I'm not using dumb frame rate decimation, I'm testing motion-based decimation. The problem is I don't see any differences. I mean I did when I started testing it, but after a few tweaks I'm not noticing any choppiness anymore.

About that, I got lucky with guesstimating the setting values first try that got me 3.99mb just nice. Then only noticed the black bars after playing it in the browser. Went ahead and cropped it but then made it .01mb too big. Being a lazy ass, didn't want to further tinker around with the values and just stuck with them.

Know that feel, but for shit like this I'd probably still tinker til i get it done because it would annoy me too much personally.

The scene there really needs and benefits highly from the FPS thanks to having so much CG / camera movement and not a single god damn cut, It's great.
>>1651312

MUUUUUUUUUUUUH.
It looks like a Cutscene out of a Video Game that renders at 60FPS, i fucking love it.

Lil advice: Do a small version for /wsr/ and then a bigger 720p version you upload at https://mixtape.moe/ or https://pomf.cat/ and post here, I do that a lot myself.
Outside of that you could try only encoding the /wsr/ version at 48FPS instead of 60.

I'm familiar with those sites, just not really all about that. It is a bitch but I have fun with the challenge of making them small and I wanna be content with what I've created in the last 10 mins. I can just link the source if anyone demands to see it in higher res.

>>1651614
>I can just link the source if anyone demands to see it in higher res.
Or you could just do a VERY quick 720p webm / mp4 render and throw it onto one of the sites to save people the effort.
I hope by "Source" you're meaning the 60FPS recording, which is probably too big anyway to be worth it.
>>1648747
>not the english dub
You had literally one job.
>>1650108
Nice, FLCL. Hopefully the S2 music is as good as the first season.
>>1651649
>do a VERY quick 720p webm / mp4 render and throw it onto one of the sites to save people the effort.
Still extra effort for me. Guess I'm just not as thoughtful.
I know it's a hard sell for you but there's a reason you don't see people doing it, or dare I say you're about the only one who cares enough to do that.
I still think it's redundant and negates the effort you put into making it under 4mb in the first place.
When browsing threads, 99% of the time I care more about the content you can fit under the restrictions rather than the source material the anon had to work with. Cause if by chance one hooks my attention I can just source it myself and watch it in it's full glory on my own time and volition. The webms suffice as a little peek into the anime.
I've seen your mixtape links around quite a lot but never once clicked on any of them. But hey more power to you if you do continue including them.
>I hope by "Source" you're meaning the 60FPS recording
Some of these I got it off and can be found on youtube. Like the OPM ones and the Maid Dragon one (hence the black bars on the uploader's part).

Because most are simply straight up lazy and don't even try to use the 4mb limit.
>I know it's a hard sell for you
Not at all actually. I can very easily get behind and understand the point you're making, but that obviously doesn't mean I fully share that vision.
>but never once clicked on any of them
Oh i expect as much really to be honest, but that's not why i make them.
The thing is that sometimes there is shows where i think they deserve more,or the webm turned out with a too low resolution, so i tend to make HQ 720p version on top of it for the few that care enough for it.
>Some of these I got it off and can be found on youtube
Ahh alright. Well if it's already online anyway i don't see why you shouldn't share it while at it.
>>1651739
I'm not 100% sure what you're asking there...
But i guess you were asking for other shows that use CGI for Humans and that don't look like utter shit?
Dunno about anime in this regard since mot the times it's VERY stylized and not realistic, but i can highly recommend the latest Final Fantasy movie in that regard, but only for the CGI really.

This is incorrect. KyoAni is known for absorbing some of the biggest animation talent in Japan, and spending that talent on making shit that sells. Believe it or not, but making money off anime is actually extremely difficult, and if you stray from a formula that works, like relying on the den of complete and utter losers that is the otaku money spenders, it could backfire horribly back at you. On the bright side, this means they get really good at what they do, seeing as they've pretty much perfected the moe slice of life formula.

You're a massive tard who has no idea what he's talking about. KyoAni didn't "perfect" anything, they adapt manga and novels that suit their tastes and that will take to their aesthetics best. The studio is predominately made up of women who like drawing cute things, that's why their art style is soft and cute and why they tend to pick up projects that are popular with women (and otaku as it turns out).

KyoAni adapt manga that they acquired through an annual competition designed to give exposure to up-and-coming mangaka, which is why most of what they have been adapting recently has been shit. Their shows haven't been performing well relatively to their output prior to 2010 but they're supported by the added income that the manga receives as a boast as they are being adapted into an anime, an interesting business model.
Their shows look so good because they focus on the quality of staff and not the quantity. IIRC Hibike! Euphonium 2 featured half the total keyframe animators as Yuri on Ice, a show of equitable animation quality. They also rarely outsource animation to other studios and work on projects that the staff unanimously agree on.
This is all an interesting model for a studio, it's just a shame they keep adapting shit.
>>1651902
