Well, a comedy does. On the other hand, >>1622785 clearly hasn't actually watched the show, because there are actual jokes. Yeah, Rick's burps are a thing, but there are a lot of jokes centering around nihilist and existentialist themes, as well as just stupid shit like Rick manifesting a butt to distract somebody while they're both trapped inside his own mind, which Rick represents with a Shoney's. There's a good mix of smart and stupid humor that would be apparent to anyone who actually watched the show beyond the ads.
