I miss it so fucking hard every day. My parents were cheapasses and I was stuck with 56k internet for all of the golden years. I'd go over to a friend's house and he would have thousands of custom maps played while I mostly stuck with a few popular ones.

Its amazing how people completely disregard how influential the custom map scene was to modern videogaming today. Everyone just parrots dota dota dota but it was so much more than that.
