The more I played it, the more I really started to enjoy it. The weapon durability was annoying at the start, but as you progress there were so many weapons being thrown in my face I had to leave most of them. Traveling also wasnt to bad, as I went heavy stamina and got the climbing set, so there really wasnt anything I couldnt reach at any point in the game.

any of you guys think it's worth getting the 3ds at this point just for animal crossing? always had an eye on the game, and lately i've been really looking into buying it along with a 3ds system plus a couple of other games, problem is i don't know it's worth investing in a somewhat old console and game, if they came out with animal crossing for the switch i'd probably go for that instead
>>1602532
It's a legit emulation machine once you get homebrew going, which is still a little complicated but only takes an hour.
It's still going to be supported for a while too. It's cheap so not a huge investment.
>>1602543
alright, and just to be clear, the newer models still support ds/dsi games right?
>>1602597
If someone would bother , it would natively support OG Gameboy games. Ninty just adds to the old hardware.
>>1592078
Rented it as a kid and played it non-stop the whole weekend. Beat every class and track except the last circuit in Master(?).
Finally got it as an adult but I think the cart is is bugged. One of the tracks makes you drive at an angle but still straight....IDK, it's a strange thing
>>1602532
Be aware that there's also versions on the Gamecube and original NDS, both of which can be emulated.
>>1602692

>>1590619
Fear Factory is underrated? I thought it was always well known, it's the best song out of DKC1
>>1574657
As much as I like the song, it's a little overrated t b h. I see people talking about nostalgia for that song even though they'd never played DKC2. Not to mention the 1000 remixes that are all shit compared to the original
>>1574657
I know Stickerbush Symphony gets fellated a lot, but after having experienced it in the context of the game it definitely is that good.
DKC2 had a great dark, ambient ost and this is easily one of the high points.
>>1574657

It was a huge mistake not putting him in Smash Bros. Guess they couldn't hold off putting more characters from Waifu Simulator...
>>1571009
In some parts of this theme I always feel it like the Evangelion OP.
>>1605204
Character polls suggest that nobody gives a rat's ass about Karate Man or any Rhythm Heaven character, instead Corrin and Bayonetta won the poll, so they were added in. Helps that you can easily make moves for them too.

the new stuff is complex. it's good, but it's only bits of classic 'zelda'. it's more melancholy and not as grand as skyward sword. it certainly fits the game, though.
I like them both but I like Breath of the Wild's more when they adapt older music, such as this.

My brother died recently as well, so I know that pain. Instead of games, he was into guns. Now I have all his stuff, and the first few weeks I barely even looked at it. I hunt and plink now, and still haven't bought anything new. In my own way, I have found something that I still believe he is with me and is teaching me. It still hurts, but not as bad.
