Shattered Horizon was great. You could move entire giant pieces of the map using explosives. I remember moving a shipping container with my gun to use as cover to take a control point, once.

When a team properly coordinates, that's how you steamroll and win games. That match we had someone call out when they were trying to flank as a whole, we'd leave someone on point and I'd do what a "tank" does and actually get in the shit and trust my team to keep me topped off and do my job. Had my ult at least 7 times this game.

i make a ton of titanfall 2 webms. ive got like 200, but ill post a few of my favorites.

some context if anyone is unfamaliar with the game: totally outplayed an overpowered titan(mech) while barely sustaining any damage.

check out some youtube guides. a youtuber named frothyomen has some good ones.
learn the maps and learn the movement system. dont play the game likes its call of duty; never just sprint on the ground, always try to wallrun or maintain the high ground. youd be surprised at the amount of people that dont look up until its too late.

try to flank players and especially titans any chance you get.
dont drop your titan if the enemy team has more titans than yours, wait until your team catches up and call your titan in when your team does.

if you have problems aiming, try lowering your sensitivity over a period of time, little by little. a larger mouse pad helps.

otherwise just keep playing. its OK to die a lot in this game, it wont necessarily ruin the game for your teammates(depending on the game mode), so dont feel bad if you get killed a lot in the beginning. youll get better with practice

context: both of us laid traps in the same spot and both of us got caught in them, preventing movement. his titan build contained a thing where it basically turns into a nuke when you destroy it. i narrowly escape by ejecting from my own titan.
ironically we both had almost the exact same build, titan, gun and pilot abilities.

Northstar best titan, wish her kit wasn't so fucking terrible though.
Cluster missile is probably one of the best abilities in the game, flight system is decent, tether is kinda crappy and most of the time, flight core is just a death sentence, except against sword core'd Ronins or mentally disabled Scorches.
I really hope they do something about that. Still playing her anyway because the railgun is the coolest but yeah.

youve got it all wrong my friend. tether is a bit weak yes, but not useless. the rest of her kit is strong. VTOL and flight core become powerful weapons if you run with viper thrusters; both can be used defensively to dodge attacks.

flight core is utterly useless against ronin though, ronin's sword block will reduce all damage in the game to just about nothing, and the reduction is further increased when ronin's core is active. the only thing ronin cannot block is northstar's railgun, it does full damage every time.

you gotta learn when and where to use vtol/flight core. they can be a death sentence yes, but you should not be using them when there is more than one enemy titan/pilot around.
i highly suggest you run viper thursters, it gives vtol and flight core a lot more flight speed.

I'm G6 and I've seen about 2 ronins that actually use it. I guess that's their fault though and not the titan's. I know it's 90% when you're core'd and it actually fucking blocks nuclear explosions but that's not what the majority of the playerbase does.

yep most ronins are retards for some reason. i guess they think ronin is a melee titan because he has a sword. a good ronin player is pretty dangerous though, especially now that turbo engine does not increase dash recharge time.

To be fair, people in titans generally are retards.
Northstars usually try close range 1v1 fights, Tones step outside of their shields, Scorches generally can't hit you, Ions never use their shield and for some fucking reason, a lot of Legions don't use theirs either.
It confuses the fuck out of me, really.

I can't really into Ronin myself that well. Mostly playing Northstar now, when the game came out I played Tone because I liked what the kit sounded like when first hearing about it, turns out she's OP, welp.

i play northstar and ronin, sometimes scorch on complex.
ronin isnt too complicated, its just that you have to use ronins entire kit effectively to be good with ronin. you cant waste dashes or phase shift since you have so little hp. even with sword block being so strong, you will still get hit and encounter northstars that you cannot block.
try what i did in that webm: unload leadwall into the enemy, phase dash through them and reload/activate electric smoke WHILE phasing through them. the smoke will appear in the real world. this gives you a chance to either run or continue to attack a now disoriented enemy. this is extra useful against ogre chasis titans, as it sometimes forces a dash from them; to escape the electric smoke.

oops i forgot: youll want to arc wave the titan either before you start firing the leadwall, or before you phase dash. if they are aware of you, arc wave them immediately, if not then wait until they turn towards you to arc wave.
