If I'm not being clear enough, Göran Jettingstad (who got his leg messed up) was making his pro debut and Minowaman (the guy messing his leg up) was a crafty vet with a hundred odd fights under his belt. I haven't found an official description of the guy's injury, but I've read that either his femur was broken or one of his quadricep muscles (the rectus femoris specifically) was torn clean off.

But Göran is apparently a fitness instructor now and presumably has healed from his injuries.
