It is very much worth the trouble.
Most people describe it as Batman with a mech, and while it was animated by the same team behind the 90s Batman cartoon, the main character uses a host of gadgets and has an excellent butler the rest is quite different.

The series has a lot of mystery to it, there's no shortage of mechs and explosions but that's only half of it.
Give it a shot, the dub is really good too
