AFAIK, it has to do color space standards:

I still haven't found a way around that myself, but the way to work around it (not fix) in webmforretards is in the advanced tab - there's a section for color levels. It won't get you exactly to the original levels but I think it'll come close enough.

How do I learn Korean faster?

I'm still struggling with Hangul, barely got the vowels memorized and it's taken me several days to get them in my head.

I'm bilingual already so this should be at least moderately easier, but 3 seperate characters for 3 different "o" sounds? ㅓㅗㅜ are fucking meme characters.

ㅗㅜㅓㅡ all sound very similar to a native English speaker, the nature of compound characters is confusing, the way in which various characters change not only their shape and position depending on the character but also the sound.

Korean to a complete beginner to any Asian language is obviously going to take a fair bit of time.

I'm at the stage where I know most of the vowels and some of the consonants, and I can read some stuff very slowly but it takes time and practice to actually get to a point where you can comfortably read a full sentence without having to do several double takes.

Kpop really helps with this shit, read the lyrics, listen to the word being pronounced, copy it, read it, rinse repeat until you feel you got it.

I'm trying to keep it varied so I don't get bored to fucking death because it's a really dry thing to learn.

Watch those kpop group shows that they make themselves. Those are usually good for picking up some stuff.
Also learn grammar first instead of focusing on individual words.
Contrary to popular belief korean grammar is pretty simplistic. It just has a lot of optional extras.

가요 means "i'm going" but also "you going"? It's bizarre, really fucked with my head. Does the addition of "어디" direct the question towards someone instead?

You're confused because you're assuming the "you" and "i" are implied as part of the present tense verb 가요 (going).
In reality the "I" and "you" are omitted because of context. If you want to specify for the sake of keeping it easy for yourself then you can put 저 (I) or 너 (you) at the beginning.
The ones you just posted, 어디 가요 and 휴가 가요, can just as easily mean "Where am I going?" and "You're going on vacation" depending on context.

어디 just means "where".

SNSD are still the only Kpop group I ever liked. Kissing You, Gee, Oh!, Genie, Hoot was the golden age. I didn't mind some T-ara either.

Other Kpop bands are not as cute/sexy/beautiful, and the songs are worse.

Kpop overall has emulated American pop way too much. All these oversexualized outfits and dance moves, songs that sound like western pop songs from 15 years ago.

Only when it's at the end of a compound character. It's normally more of a j or ch. Or a chinese z.
I suggest you watch some youtube videos about pronunciation of different characters and then read up on liaisons.

The Howtostudykorean memrise courses use Hangul. I'd recommend the mobile version though, the desktop version has no easy way to input hangul unless you change your keyboard. Also, the vocab goes along with their grammar courses which are pretty good

Took me about 3-4 hours to get through the entire thing, but I think it worked well since I have no issues remembering any pronunciation (I did this back in October). It goes deeper than just learning how to pronounce individual sounds, by continuing on teaching you the combination of sounds and the cultural "rules" of how koreans pronounce certain combinations, some of which are counter-intuitive to what was previously taught imo, but once you get used to hearing the differences it will make more sense.

notice the difference between her normal, unaspirated, jakku (자꾸), and when she drags out (aspirates) the "j" sound on the first 자꾸 in the 4th set of 자꾸's.

With memrise, or any other program that uses romanisation, once you have already learned how to pronounce the hangul characters you can practically ignore the romanisation. Also, if you use the mobile app of memrise, instead of the website, it will offer you free listening practice pretty frequently so you can train your ear to hear the sounds better.
