Serious question for anyone reading. Have you ever been happy? Has anyone ever been sad? Are these emotions even real? Can anyone really just speak to another human without having a panic attack?

Basicly the human (and litterally all life) needs to have an enemy to keep on living. every single cell fights against some kind of force, being heat, cold, gravity, even other "living beings".

Hey, i'm just some random guy, but I think I have an idea of what you're going through. The last anon made some really good points. What was recommended to me, and what basically turned my life around, is that you have to change your way of thinking towards life. They basically told me to think of your life as a long winding journey. Everyone knows where the journey eventually ends, but what comes in-between is where you have the chance to achieve a sense of fulfillment. The easiest way I've found to do that is to become more insular in your long-term thinking. By that, I mean try to live in the Present as much as you possibly can. Doesn't mean you can't make long-term goals and stuff, but try to be "in the moment" as much as you can. Try it out for a day or two and see how it treats you. Keep in mind this isn't the only thing that you can do, but it helps you get in the right mindset.

Do you realize that you're trying to argue the idea that it's not possible to use video editing software to speed up frame rates and touch up a Japanese fucking animation? Japanese animators were so cheap into saving production cost which is why each frame/slide has a somewhat motionless character and was pretty much an image with a moving mouth. Anime has pretty much become close, not there yet, to the norm and practically everyone is aware of its popularity which means more money for production.

Just compare the first two post. The first could be 60 fps but is compressed, and converted to shit so it's hard to tell. The second post is much clearer, and smoother (60fps).

Sure you might not like it but there are plenty of people, including myself, that really like smooth and lifelike motion on the screen.

I remember the first time I saw a movie playing at 60Hz at a friend's house it blew my mind, since I'd watched the same dvd twice on my own tv at 30Hz. I got myself a new tv a year or two later solely on the fact that it had the smoothest looking video out of all the screens at Target.

I know exactly what you're talking about. For months at a time sometimes I feel completely neutral, but also hallow, I can never feel "happy" and I can't even really feel sad. The only thing I can kind of feel is a "down" from the neutral feeling. Remember youtube uses variable FPS to save on bandwidth instead of actual 60fps. There are no Hollywood films in 60fps yet, though some are on the way. The copies online are interpolated using software (like this example). It is only true 60fps is it was made in 60fps at the source which is rarely the case

Seems like only special CG, games, GoPro-type, and the rare anime are legit 60fps.

Thus, all youtube sources are suspect, though they may look really good in some cases.

When those same directors and cinematographers shoot in 60fps, the mistakes they make in 24fps become apparent. They need more experience with this new tool in order to shoot scenes in a way to better utilize 60fps without the jarring problems.

Research motion blending. It's more of a technique rather than a program. I don't know how exactly to edit a video to take advantage of it but it basically smooths frames out to create the illusion of 60fps in order to reduce motion blur. It's mainly used for sporting events

In a 60fps thread a few months back, somebody requested a way of viewing the fps of a webm posted in a 4chan thread.
To that anon and anybody else interested, I made this Firefox addon (webextension) that seems to do the trick. After you play the webm, the fps data should display in the file header, next to the filesize and video dimensions.
