It is somewhat ironic that TMPS3 is by far the best twisted metal mechanically (gameplay is so muich tighter) but fails at the first step: the cheesy plot. Level design in the ps3 game when its good blows previous games out of the water but equally it fails HARD at rooftopts - a somewhat classic for the series (albeit not specific in layout) which hurts the game a lot.

If the game wasn't plagued by net issues for the first month of release (it was so bad sony pulled the entire PSN network down for a week) the game would be a cult classic. I stil lswear by it but acknowledge its flaws.

The DoW1 was done by a cgi studio called Blur iirc. Regardless you would not beleive the autism the 40k crowd put into that intro including a detailed tactical analysis of why the space marine sergeant declare a charge up a hill to an entrenched ork position.

The intro remains orgasmic if you have the audio setup to appreciate it (my base cannon DT770's cum at the assault cannon roar) and as good as the trailers for DoW III are they do not best the original.
