Music you actually made yourself.
Self promote people, let's hear it.
Maybe even people actually playing instruments this time.

I think this is the best one I've made on my free time, given that I dont have much time to sit on my computer.
funny how these threads play out Exactly and i mean Exactly as soundcloud/bandcamp threads on >>>/mu/
>>1438828
I like these better because less circlejerking.
Notice the lack of SoundCloud links?
>>1444012
the lack of various links and the empty recommendation are missing, but the spam, the short or abscent communication and the bumps from the satan's red asshole aka page 10, do persist
a dead end, exactly as sc threads
link would appear if they were requested
fewer people too

Nice, 6/10, I like the laughter noises. Could be a bit more echoey in some parts, just a suggestion.
>>1443955
Could honestly do without the beeping in the background. I would listen to it evolve with just the drum beat and see how you like it. Also good, 6/10.
>>1438008
have a triple snare at the end of the third and fourth segment, instead of a double snare. 5/10.

Make it a little more distant and harsh to fit the background image, 5/10

4/10 but okay

Will try to listen to more when i get home from work.

literally the shittiest track in the thread
>>1437167
That's good. Though I think it needs a bridge.
>For a bridge, take the basic length of phrase and cut it in half. So songs that use 2-bars phrases as a basic norm should use 1-bar phrases in the bridge. This “fragmenting” of musical ideas creates an intensity of song energy, building to the final repeats of the chorus.

The file won't work as a webm for some reason
>>1436273
Would this be the thread to get y’all’s criticism for a complete amateur in terms of singing?
I’ve always been kind of tone-deaf, but over the last couple years I’ve practiced alone to achieve something passable. But I’m not a good judge of it.
Friends and family are nice, but a totally anonymous opinion would be nice.
>>1502334
I'd give you a comment
First attempt. Be gentle.

Well shit, idk if you're still reading this but for what it's worth: https://soundcloud.com/a-stranger-one
tbache I really should just throw a couple of these into webm format. I'll look up how to do it later when it's not so late.
Song I hate the least is Deja Vu, so listen to that one if nothing else:

running out the door for work, going to post 2 then respond to some others later. i follow back on SC and like anything except generic indie electro BS

this one has a little more dnb inspiration to it.
appreciate ANY feedback. i know dubstep isn't really popular here, at least add me on SC and make me feel special. ill give you some plays.
>>1504913
sounds pretty good, except your notes are all over the place. timing is too random.
>>1504913
wood groove oudda den, it stumbles in some places, noticeably notes are too close in a few places but over all I dig it

youtube or soundcloud?
>>1502334

>>1505613
What are you using?
>>1504963
I went through and listened to most of your songs. You seem to rarely leave the same octave with any particular synth, and your drums all sound very amateurish.
You have great starting points, but I don't even hear a genre in most of them. I know this is 2017 and assuming your genre is illegal, but at least having a plan isn't a bad thing.
All in all, solid start, but needs more pizzazz. Sliding notes, octave range, drum accentuation and some mastering work. I can't think of a DAW that doesn't have a built in EQ. Throw one on the master and see where you can improve the sound. This doesn't work for the whole song, but can get you started. Protip: boost the highs and lows, but don't blow out your eardrums.
>>1505773
Ableton 9
>>1505872
Ohh, you're not using FL12... Sad.
Joking, but there are tons of tutorials for both programs. Specifically, EDM tutorials are great for chord progression.
>>1505787
ty. Not anything like a real musician, so I've just been dicking around. I'll work on drums and mastering. For genre, I feel like I'm starting to find a more consistent tone the more I write, so I'll try to hone that in more.
Appreciate the advice. Best of luck in the future.
>>1451985
