Honestly I still think 7 is the best but I enjoyed the rest too, to varying degrees obviously.
I can see people liking 4 or even 2 more, with the rest it's kind of weird. 1 is way too basic in most regards although it does have a great villain and is the only reason why 3 has a great villain too, seeing as Dio doesn't actually do anything in 3 for the largest part except spook Hol Horse. I think that's still 5's biggest problem, it does a similar thing (except that halfway through they learn about KC obviously, which is also quite a spectacular fight). Diavolo is cool in concept but both he and Doppio could've needed a bit more screentime.
I feel like that's something Araki actually wanted to rectify in 6, seeing as Pucci is a constant threat, basically. Same goes for Valentine halfway through, although he's also introduced much earlier.

Basically, 2 has the least filler and the best main character, but most of the others do have ensemble casts so I find it very hard to say 2 is the best simply because it has the best JoJo.
4 has the overall most enjoyable atmosphere, generally the best cast in relation to how many characters there are and hey, it introduced complete bullshit stands to the series so that's great.

Also as everybody knows, 8 is indeed shaping up well although I haven't kept track of it that much.
Basically, everyone infighting is dumb as shit.

I think it's just your average super/ultra/etc that does a fuckton of damage compared to your other attacks. It's difficult to pull off canon representations of stuff like Bites the Dust in video game form.

In the first appearance, that is, in the chapter with Buccellati and Trish, it was a lot more like The World, where he'll disappear and re-appear somewhere else, but nothing happens to you, as if he simply stopped time. After Diavolo's reveal, everything goes negative and you move extremely slowly while Diavolo moves totally freely.
[spoiler]The GER fight is probably the closest, where you can control it normally within King Crimson-time.[/spoiler]

Who can really say they understand King Crimson perfectly? It's inconsistent even in the manga. Sometimes it works in certain ways, and in others it disregards it for convenience. I bet that not even Araki is 100% sure regarding its abilitie.
