I was in lighting design and working on a show that had 2 TVs for people to look at. Working with the Show Control Designer, we programmed a button (It was a Staples 'That was Easy' button), that when pressed, this came on both TVs, the sound blasted throughout the whole theater, and all the lights did crazy shit.

It wasn't that he didn't receive help from the instructor. It's that the only things he learned in that utterly worthless class was how to make what you saw in the video. How to make a shitty 3D model and how to do shitty minimalist animation to it. And everybody knows how much college classes cost, especially at an art school. It's genuinely depressing when you consider how he could have better spent his time and money. He was right to be pissed.
