Oh man, that's rather complicated to explain.
It has to do with a suicide of a girl (ex-lover of him), and he is to blame for that.
After a season of guilt and depression for that, he remembers another ex-lover who now lives with another man and that happens... But everything is centered because of the suicide of the other girl.
Again, it's complicated. That series is the best to tell you the psychological state of their characters. The best thing would be to see this show, it's pure god tier!!

>>1432428
The best part is the fact that he starts screaming with blood on his face, RIGHT AFTER delivering the Huey Lewis monologue. The Huey Lewis monologue is not, in and of itself, what makes the scene great. It's how it ties the whole scene together. If you cut off the end of the scene, you lose the effect.

Anyway, if you're too lazy to make a proper webm, then just don't make one at all.

They filmed most of that movie by my house.

Never saw it, but the production crew was very nice and spent a lot of time in town actually hitting up local bars and businesses, which is rare. When Wrinkle in Time came through last month they basically just stayed in their trailer the whole time, and Star Wars outright shut down big hunks of the county because "secrecy". These folks were really nice and open about the film.

Not really, he was one of Clemenza's soldiers. The part was originally meant for Clemenza, the fat "take the canolli" guy in Godfather 1, who was one of Vito's caporegime generals, alongside Tessio (Abe Vigoda). But the actor demanded too much money and he was killed off between Godfather I and II.

The first friend of Vito's we see is Genco, the ugly guy who takes him to see a play in one of the early flashbacks. He's Vito's adoptive brother and later becomes his first consigliere, but dies shortly before the events of Godfather I, which leaves Tom Hagen unprepared to be a counsel for the mob war. Vito also names his olive oil front business after Genco. Vito was taken in as a kid by Genco's dad, the man who employs him at the grocery store, who has to later lay off Vito when he's forced to hire Don Fannucci's nephew. Genco tries to give Vito some food he stole from the store but Vito refuses to steal from the man who took him in.

The friend who introduces Vito to crime, who almost kills a postman when Vito helps him steal a rug, THAT's Clemenza. Tessio appears in some of the later 1920s-ish flashbacks, eating with Corleone family in their apartment.

The guy in the wheelchair who helps Michael hide out in Sicily in the first movie, is the same guy that helps Vito get close to the old don in Corleone that killed Vito's family. He gets shot escaping the villa after Vito guts the don.

The best scene was the introduction of 3 masters, where the Axe Gang is going to burn that poor woman alive and their leader just throws his lighter... whic is casually grabbed mid-air and flipped close.
Literally the best moment of entire film, because they had to repeat that scene over and over and over again, until the guy was able to catch it without even looking in that direction.

You've missed the best part of that scene.

Season 2 is so much different in tone and story and just about everything it would be better if they would literally market it under different title as new series.
Because as much as it's equally good, it's so competely different it brings pointless and impossible to pull comparisons between two completely different series.

It was only because he began to notice his obsession with that case with Ledoux. Especially with the talk of the first meeting with Ledoux about the Yellow King.

Later, the detectives who are interviewing the two protagonists, take this as a suspicion that Rust was the killer. Believing that Rust's reaction was due to the fact that he felt threatened by the boy who is talking to him about the Yellow King. (The guy on the webm).

You seriously bothered about efficiency at this point? We are not talking 100 nukes scenario or 500 nukes. We are talking about entire atomic arsenal. And if we consider the level of control Skynet gains in T3 at face value, it's firing not only American missiles, but literally all missiles that are out there in the world.
Of course we are shown only American deep province, so Mary Ann and Cletus can feel how bad it is if Nowhere, Bumfuck was also nuked.

That was definitly a fairly large city being bombed. The only bumfuck nowhere shots were at the beginning with the launching of the ICBMs. So which scene are you complaining about exactly?
>>

Entire sequence and a specific mannerism Hollywood has when describing bad events.
Like a global event summed up in "250 million Americans were killed". I remember times when you were saying stuff like "6 billion people died", rather than making a tally of dead burgers.
Add sappy music, All-American wholesome imaginery and you have a recipe for disaster when screening abroad.

Because the entire films was made by guys who are doing stunt work normally. The cript, camera, editing - all in hands of stuntmen with decades of experience. So the film on the technical level is gold when compared with average action flick.
It's also greatest "show, don't tell" excercise done in years.
>>
>>1476085

>Because the entire films was made by guys who are doing stunt work normally.

So? Stunt men are usually stunt men rather than directors because most of the time they can't make decent movies. Most of the time that they try, they end up being spectacular failures that only even really shine in a handful of action sequences.
>>
>>1469511
kike propoganda
>>
>>1476329
I guess you don't exactly follow.
The film has great camera work for fights, edit for fights, choreography for fights and entire structure is so well-executed toward set pieces, because it's made from people doing set pieces for living. We are not talking about a guy promoted to direct a film based on scenario appointed by the studio or working with strangers, we are talking about bunch of dudes who did this film from the base on their own.
And it makes a fuck-huge difference when doing low-budget studio film.
>>
>>1476700

Simply having worked on films doesn't mean that you'll make a decent film, even if your work on those films was great. For example the most obvious thing that could have gone wrong with Wick was the script and direction for the actors. Those aren't things you learn how to do simply because you've worked on making great action sequences before.

Even world famous directors with decades of experience can make terrible films. Simply saying "Oh well these dudes worked on action films before, therefore they know how to make a good action film" is a superficial way of looking at things Sure, they didn't fuck things up and everything turned out great.

This one time.

Chapter 2 might be a fucking clusterfuck of bad decisions based on what the directors thought worked with the first one or want to do differently with a sequel. By your logic, it simply can't be a bad film because everyone involved is talented and knows what they are doing. Guess what, that's the case with a lot of really terrible films. Like just look at Ridley Scott's recent films. Dude has worked on numerous classic films, but he can still find time and energy to make Prometheus and Exodus. The people involved with those projects aren't stupid or incompetent either. The costume people know what they are doing. The script people know what they are going. The editors knows what they are doing. The sound and music people know what theya re doing. The cinematographers knows what they are doing. And so on. And collective, under the guidance of Ridley Scott as director they managed to make two overall medicore films that will probably be confined to be on click bait top 10 lists of films that you've probably forgotten but was filled with talent.

yes, Chapter 2 might be fucking shit. There is enough about John Wick to hint at that just like Return of the Jedi hints at just enough to make it clear that Lucas could completely fuck up Star Wars if he ever returned to the franchise.
>>
>>1476936
Not the anon you're arguing with but i don't think Prometheus and exodus are BAD movies per say. And not in a "Oh you guys didn't understand !!! I'm so clever I...I got it !" way. I didn't get it. But there is what feels like a hidden potential for test of time in Prometheus. It's full of plot hole and it's not a Spielberg movie (and i didn't get it....) but i, maybe that's my mistake, refuse to think ridley scott made a bad movie without any long term plan.

I know that wasnt the point of your post, but just felt like chiming in with my absolutely necessary opinion.

Original anon here and like already said, you are not following it. Or refuse to follow, which is more likely.
And I don't feel like explaining it for the 3rd time, since previous two attempts have failed. So let's conclude it with the simple truth that I'm talking about A and you are talking about X.

>inb4 ha, I was right and won, cuz no counter-arguments

>>
>>1476987
Yes, because when you are marketing film internationally, you want to put entire focus on States. That has sooo much appeal to everyone else. Especially in a franchise that went from global scope of the story told from burger perspective to American scope told for burgers and then mass-marketed everywhere around.

You seriously can't see the difference?

So is your average TV movie about a suicidal teen or a wife being beaten by her husband. That doesn't make them good in any way.
Neither it helps this piece of shit. The film was just badly scripted, had SERIOUS pacing issues and couldn't create any sort of atmosphere while constantly trying (the already mentioned issue with music). You don't just put heartbeat soundtrack to a scene where nothing really happens and montage doesn't even follow the beat to create feel of suspense.
