Starsector. Formerly Starfarer. Its just an example of how broken missiles are and how bad that ship is for a large class ship. Its a decent game, probably still 15 or 20 bucks. Used to have a very strong mod community. But its hit a still point for sure

You have no idea what you are talking about.
The small ship was geared for all out attack with missiles against the big ship specifically, both the captain and the ship loadout were geared towards that.
After that one slavo, the ship is essentially useless and if you fucked it up then you don't get another chance.
It also used it's burst engines timed with the other ships burst engines ending so the big ship couldn't just run away.
If the big ship had flak defence in the rear it wouldnt not have this problem.
To top it all off it was on EASY mode where you do more damage to the enemy.
There is so many fucking factors to this, yet you fucking lay the blame on the fact that a missiles are OP, missiles, that have a limited quantity in battle unlike all other weapons.

That part at that difficulty is objectively the most challenging part in the game though, some would say in the entire series. Especially right after the webm ends and like 6 armored special enemies (including 2 brutes) rush you from the far side of the map, often while you're still fighting assholes camping the cliffs. Once they're dead, like 8 more regular soldiers with ARs rush you from the same place. Kill them and only *then* do you get your first checkpoint. You have to do all of that in one go.

There are a lot of people who can't beat it at all after like 25 tries, sometimes even with lock-on aim, and they give up and just use cheats. The only part that really compares to it is in this webm. You would understand if you actually tried it

no, this is already made by Platinum, this was the very first trailer after a 2 years on hiatus after it almost got cancelled, kojima then handed to platinum, they made a complete different story (initially the story was going to be how raiden got his body and save sunny from the patriots) but they still used the resources already made like raiden's new body. in this trailer they probably didnt modeled the initial raiden skin so they use new raiden everywhere
