Newfag-oldfag divide grows significantly, and everyone (especially newfags) starts to only post things that won't make them seem like newfags.

Fast forward over a decade, and people who've been here all this time still post as if they're gonna be called out for shit opinions and told to lurk moar. Now you have cancerous boards like /v/ and /a/ where everybody hates whatever game/anime its popular to hate, and praises whatever game/anime makes their taste. seem more refined.

This isn't true. I distinctly remember that the general feeling when I came here in 06 was that it was better before and that the newfags like me had ruined everything. Things have changed, but not in the regard you state. When 4chan was created it was a small group of people who knew each other and the inside jokes. New people where initiated with hazing as they where integrated into the site. That culture was there then and it's here now. "4chan has changed, it was better before" was a thing when I got here 10 years ago and it's still very much a thing. Theoretically it might've been good for half a year back in 03/04 but since then it's always been worse than it was during some golden age. For you that age is is pre-08.

By the way, 4chan is more interesting now than it's ever been.

The difference between Vayikra (Leviticus) 18:22 and all of those other passages is that, as the guy mentions briefly, all the other passages are clearly defined laws. They have statements, passages, further clarification - the whole shebang. 18:22 is just a blanket statement of "this shit icky and you shouldn't do it."

Correct me if I'm getting it wrong, but to my understanding, Christianity rejects the laws of Judaism, but not the underlying morality. Christianity says "rest on the seventh day," while Judaism says "don't do these 39 specific things that are considered 'work' on the seventh day."

That's why Christians care about 18:22, but not all of the other bullshit that the guy in the video mentioned.
