Either have them pull the pump back, ejecting the spent round, and place a round into the chamber, or put one shell in the tube and then pump. And then continue to reload.

I don't care if for gameplay reasons animations don't make much sense (for example, re4 shotgun reload) but for this game I don't think that's the case since you obviously reload all the spent shells, and it doesn't reload a set amount.

Someone should start posting KF2 webms if they exist, or more RE4.

Its a visual inaccuracy, in a game that's obviously going for realism.

There is no real excuse nowadays for AAA games like that to have visual inaccuracies, except if its for gameplay reasons.

If smaller dev studios with smaller budgets can make better animations (not even objectively better, they are higher quality, and more accurate, and fit the style of the game) then why can't they do just as good.

It's evening out the reload so you can actually pace your gameplay accordingly, because the game is tense enough as it is. It's actually much more important for mechanical perfection to have consistency than realism, the reload itself looking nice itself is a bonus.
You know, the exact opposite of what Western devs usually go for. I'm aware that having to reload every single bullet might provide even more tension, but consistency beats realism in this case, although shit like Far Cry 2's random jamming kind of proves my point that some Western devs don't understand this.

Graphically it is obviously going for realism, it isn't stylised, the graphics are meant to mimic real life. So they should strive to make everything as visually realistic as possible unless it conflicts with gameplay.

Yes its really nitpicky but I don't see why we shouldn't point out problems they have so they can fix them, or take more care in future games.

I could go on for hours complaining about the slight problems with tons of games and I still enjoy them, but I always try and point out problems they have in the official forums.

Stuff like the bugs with bf1 reload animations/shell ejection, RO2/RS weapon inaccuracies (more specifically, devs incorrectly making open bolt weapons function as if they are closed bolt) etc.

Shooting at a tank with grenade launchers with others in an attempt to distract it from the person trying to stick C4 on it was fun.
