the camera's fine.
it only ever works against you in boss battles, and for those you're supposed to use the lock-on function cos you're fighting one fucking enemy. if you can't figure out the basic controls then this game is wasted on a pleb like you.

A lot of the time problems with the camera could be due to how slow the default pan speed is. Turning the camera all the way up really improved my experience, and I encourage you to give that a shot (assuming you haven't already).
