He also does a DBZ Saiyaman Saga Was Sick and Batman Beyond Ill "abridged" series that're also dope as fuck. He's leagues above the other abridged dudes.

I assume it's because he doesn't consistently force himself to put out content though he just updates as and when so he's not just churning out shitty scripts all the time like TFS etc.

Tell me about it.

TFS used to be about making fun on the series (which is what a parody is), but everything started to change after the Freeza Saga: they're moving away from the parody part and are now trying to make their own version of Dragonball Z.

Perhaps they should remove the "fan-based parody" part of their disclaimer.

I've been with them since Episode 9.

What makes it not a parody? Is it because they stopped breaking the fourth wall, making jabs at the original dubs and/or trying to stuff dated pop culture references into basically every other scene? Granted it still happens occasionally (but in great moderation now and to better effect), the humor and writing is still just as good as it's always been (if not improved). It doesn't explicitly need to constantly make fun of the source material to be a parody.

Honestly, the earliest episodes are actually the hardest to go back to now.

Their writing is still great, but their really humorous episodes seem to be more spread out from the other episodes, recently. I'm ending up smiling at their jokes more than actually laughing.

Perhaps my sense of humor is more mature, now.
