Q. It takes years, sometimes more than a decade, to negotiate new trade deals. What would your plans be?
A. Lots of countries aren't in the EU.

Hear that UK? Just sit tight for a few years while all your free trade gets renegotiated -- I'm sure nobody will take advantage of your reduced protections and vanished international tax guarantees in the meantime.
>>
>>1151133
the european union won't survive another 10 years, regardless of referendums. we've been living on borrowed time since the 2008 crash. the collapse is inevitable, and it's probably going to spark a civil war between the native populations of europe and the non-western immigrants once the welfare state goes under.

"Other countries in different parts of the world, with different trading partners, different resources and different internal/external politics who are not in the european union are doing fine.

I dont understand whats unique about Britains economic position in the world and thus can't explain why it would be any different for us.

I'll also completely ignore the part in your question in regards to how we know it's actually a difficult process to set up the trade agreements that these other countries have. I hope hiding my ignorance behind confidence will confuse you long enough that I don't have to actually answer the question."

They contribute a significant amount of soldiers to the military as well as play host to the bases containing the UK's only nuclear deterrent. They're somewhat important to keep in the UK and there'd be some significant reshuffling of a lot of stuff if they left. recent poll found that there is 59 (or 57, I don't quite remember) percent support for Scottish independence now, and when you remove the "don't know" votes then it's 65% yes.
Also, Northern Ireland will likely vote to unify with Ireland. If the "United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland" doesn't have Northern Ireland and doesn't even have all of Great Britain, then it's certainly not the UK of today. Firstly Farage doesnt hold a seat in Parliament, so he can't 'pledge' anything. I don't know why conversations like this are still happening. It's done, there is no going back. Now it's time to start having serious discussions about how to raise the UK economy and global profile. All this other shit is distractions that will only slow it down or decimate it further.

You dumb mother fucker, you're talking about a generation of people that were alive before and after the UK joined the EU. If the current generation should turn to anyone for help or advice during the voting, they should have turned to this old generation that obviously saw that the UK was best on its own rather than with the EU. If it wasn't then there wouldn't have been so many older voters voting too leave.

God I wish America had a parliament. Every video I've ever seen of a meeting of literally ANY parliament from ANY country is ALWAYS this fucking nuts, with people yelling at each other and calling names. It's just so great, and fun, and exciting! Our government is boring as fucking old man's balls. The most exciting thing that's happen to us this millennium is one presidential candidate telling another presidential candidate to "delete his [Twitter] account". So fucking lame. I have a serious question for any Brits in this thread

Awhile back I watched the movie Children of Men. There's some sort of sci-fi angle to why the UK is all fucked up in the movie but that's not the point. If anyone has seen this movie, especially the first half hour, it paints a fairly distopiate future where the UK is one of the last bastions of a real civilization and the refugee situation is absolutely out of control. At the time I didn't think much of it, but that was back before ISIS, the migrations, and Brexit. Now I'm suddenly remembering some scenes from that movie, and it makes me think (obviously the movie takes things to extremes)

Now having never been to the UK (although I do get my daily news from the BBC), 4chan makes it sound like the amount of foreigners, especially from middle eastern countries, has increased rapidly over the years. do any of you Brit anons think that now that you'll no longer be in the UK, and therefore are no longer party to easy freedom of movement between countries (or so I read in a recent article, which said UK can't be privilege to easy travel to EU countries and not be in the EU), that your immigrant situation will get better or worse, and also, do you think since you're no longer part of the EU, will stronger restrictions be placed on potential immigrants? As I understood it that was a big motivator for Brexit in the first place, but I also can't see the UK not being all super-PC, no-hurt-feelings. However maybe part of that was because of not hurting EU countries' feelings.

>disclaimer, no I've never gone to /pol/, in general don't have a problem with immigration as a concept, nor middle eastern people as a whole, hope this post didn't come off that way

It's similar to non-whites in the US. Most areas it's fine: even if you are out numbered by non-whites, they are as British as you are with the exception of their complexion. That is they are second or third generation immigrants who have been raised as Britons.

Most Brexiteers equate these non-white Britons with immigrants — this is why they make it sound like the place is "overrun" with immigrants when really they mean its no long dominated by white Britons. Furthermore, these non-white, second or third generation immigrants (who are now as British as tea) generally originate from Commonwealth countries — we can hardly complain when we ruled half the world and some of these people followed us home.

However, there are certain areas (particularly in London) when this is not true although these are generally small and are not the norm. It would be like saying the US is overrun by Italian because parts of New York have an Italian majority.

What I really don't get is that the Brexiteers mainly have a gripe with non-EU immigrants — EU immigrants generally integrate well into Britain society (and are white). They hate Muslims who come from non-EU countries. Brexit won't prevent this at all and so the racists have fucked us all over for no reason at all.

Problem with UK is actually the same as in eg Spain.
Most of immigrants from Poland, Ukraine or even Germany(I see them more and more) went to Spain AND UK to work. Where immigrants from islamic counters like Syria, Pakistan or bunch of African countries are here just for social money.

I can say that from experience, because my family live in Span for almost 15years, we pay taxes here we bought house here, we support all Spanish social events if we have time and money.
>Of course for every 10 person there are 1 that is retarded asshole, and give bad idea of how people from this specific country behave, but overall we came here to work legally and play taxes just like in our country. So dont judge just by one ass from random video on internet

I know that some say that its bad t come to other country. But hey! as Comedian Jimmy Carr said: Polish people came to UK(and Spain) not knowing language, not knowing anyone here... and still they found work faster than you... and its not even "cheap work" as most of people think, because work for 4-5euro per hour we could get in Poland without a problem.

But now to main part, as I said, we are here to work legally, when sand niggers and niggers came here to take social money because they are "refugees".
Right now im in Tourist region in Spain, near one of those islamic street that are in every major city in Spain. And all I see are massive amount of islamic cunts with 2-3 kids not working AT ALL, but still they spend most of time spending social money in local markets, and I see loots of young and old islamic fags... sitting ALL FUCKING DAY in park/near home talking with each other... they dont work, and stll they can get almost 1500Euro from social money because amount of kids they make. I fucking live here and work my ass of paying taxes that dont go to make Spain better... they go to them, to keep them here sitting and making kids for social money.

The UK already has full and complete independent control over immigration from outside of Europe. Leaving the EU just (potentially) gives more control over immigration from the EU.

Leaving the EU will do nothing about the amount of non-whites coming to the UK. At least, nothing that couldn't have been done whilst still a part of the EU.

>actually assuming "money will go to this" ="/all/ of the money will go to this"
You fucking moron. If anything it's a good sign that isn't the case, look at the US. Only dropping big-bucks on a small group of government organizations (military) has fucked our infrastructure management, some bridges are actually collapsing because of it.
It's a good thing to diversify spending, so everything gets some money and attention. You twit. It's the opposite of a slam dunk for stay-folk:
>ha-HA! Got you brexit fag! Now instead of irresponsibly only giving extra funds to one thing we know you'll divide amoung many things that need funding, responsible measure! HOW WILL YOU RECOVER FROM THIS CRUSHING EXPOSÈ?!

Romanian who has been living in Spain for 11 years here. I can confirm this, though I don't know if it's the case with Catalonia or all of Spain. From what I've heard, it's only Catalonia that attracts so many lazy shits who sit in the park all day long.

Well this is really the issue of FPTP voting system. And even that is much better than the way EU works - I mean the parliament's powers are pretty pathetic when compared to the commission and the way commission works is pretty fucking undemocratic.

And dont forget that in the referendum on voting system people overwhelmingly called for it to remain.
