The guy playing the clerk at the desk in this scene is a Danish comedian called Frank Hvam. It was really fucking surprising to see him in Game of Thrones, even if it was a small role. I've never seen him do much other than comedy in his acting career.

The charging scene wasn't CGI either, they actually had a stampede of horses charging at Kit.

For the webm in question, it was a routine they practiced for a very long time. The horse that runs in front of him is CGI, they added it later to look like hes in the middle, but everything else is pretty much happening. Some wire work, and some touch up with after effects, but theres little CGI in that scene.

He said that things can and will be different, but he would still love the show. He always talks more about the visualization of his settings than the actual plotline the show is following.

I think one example is his characterization with the high sparrow. His motivations aren't really touched. He was basically established as a "bad guy", like how geoffrey was a "bad guy". The difference between the two was how geoffrey was fleshed out.

I still love the show don't get me wrong, but It feels like something is missing, and I will attribute that to the show writers working on their own and not from grrm's own mind.
