What the fuck did you just fucking say about me, you little bitch? I’ll have you know I graduated top of my class in the Navy Seals, and I’ve been involved in numerous secret raids on Al-Quaeda, and I have over 300 confirmed kills. I am trained in gorilla warfare and I’m the top sniper in the entire US armed forces. You are nothing to me but just another target. I will wipe you the fuck out with precision the likes of which has never been seen before on this Earth, mark my fucking words. You think you can get away with saying that shit to me over the Internet? Think again, fucker. As we speak I am contacting my secret network of spies across the USA and your IP is being traced right now so you better prepare for the storm, maggot. The storm that wipes out the pathetic little thing you call your life. You’re fucking dead, kid. I can be anywhere, anytime, and I can kill you in over seven hundred ways, and that’s just with my bare hands. Not only am I extensively trained in unarmed combat, but I have access to the entire arsenal of the United States Marine Corps and I will use it to its full extent to wipe your miserable ass off the face of the continent, you little shit. If only you could have known what unholy retribution your little “clever” comment was about to bring down upon you, maybe you would have held your fucking tongue. But you couldn’t, you didn’t, and now you’re paying the price, you goddamn idiot. I will shit fury all over you and you will drown in it. You’re fucking dead, kiddo

>>1141407
You think that's bad? I witnessed a T-55 that was stuck so bad it needed three Leopards in tandem to get pulled out. It took closer to two hours just to remove the tank.
>>1141005
>>1154219
That reminds me of a story about a how after a general secretary change in the USSR the new guy had a summer house, which like all general secretary residences according to security protocols had to have a bunker protected from nuclear, biological and chemical attack.
But either the security services didn't expect him to stay in office for long or he was opposed to long construction works at his dacha and so for whatever reason their solution was taking a T-72 from the nearest army base, driving it to his back yard and burying it in a hole so that only the commander's hatch would stick up above the ground.
>>1154237
I don't know how the overpressurising would work underground but I guess they had that worked around.
Or not.
>>1148870
And to think I've been trained to fight in middle of artillery shelling, nothing matches real combat.
I find it amazing the lengths humanity goes just to get rid of each other.
Russian air-fuel bomb which they claim has a 44t TNT yield (4 times higher than American MOAB) and can be dropped from a bomber, unlike the MOAB, which only fits in cargo planes.
Both the yield and it being able to fit in a Tu-160 are disputed by western military analysts.
Whoops!
Version without the accidental RT host.
>>1154310
There's nothing you can do. When you hear the rounds starting to fall, or hear the blasts, all you can do is focus on the task at hand and hope one of those doesn't land on you. There's just no way to defend yourself from it though, so might as well keep fighting and hope for the best.
>>1150547
He's not saying it's because of nukes, he's using the webm to demonstrate that sloping provides so much protection it can survive a nuke blast.
>>1152173
Now I actually want to see a dragon dildo fired from one of these.
>>1154562
>if you wondered why the odd slope
>if you wondered why
>why
Sure sounds like that's what he's saying though
>>1154569
He's saying that the slopes are for added protection. Which you called him out for not saying, implying he was saying they where for nukes specifically.
The guy is saying exactly what you are, but used a video of it surviving a nuke to really demonstrate it's improved armor gained from the slope.
It's like me saying, "This is why archers where important," and posting a webm of a skilled hunter hitting a deer from a good distance. It's demonstrating that it's one of the first weapon systems that allowed you to kill something outside of melee range. Stupid analogy, but I hope it gets the point across.
>>1154579
If it's just a system that fires one round from several barrels in quick succesion, why is it such a big deal or so high te~ *brrttt* Oooohh...
>>1154566
I'm pretty sure that constitutes a war crime.
>>1151853
>not eurobeat
>>1154584
Protection from a blast wave and protection from a solid penetrator are rather different things.
If an armored vehicle isn't close enough to a nuke to get vaporized by the heat, it probably isn't in danger of having the blast wave physically wreck the armor.
A blast wave could flip the vehicle or bump it hard enough to knock the crew out and what I imagine our friend meant was that the aerodynamics of the shape would mitigate those threats.
>>1154590
It's a system that fires several bullets per barrel from several barrels.
>>1154630
Which makes reloading a bitch. The only use I could see metal storm having is CIWS, but even there, the extreme limitations to ammo capacity and reload time make it risky to use it.
>>1154630
Yeh, was just making a joke about it, cool tech but, can't think of what the practical use is off the top of my head that isn't already a thing.
>>1154646
In the full version of that 40mm variant video they reload the barrels by switching out pre-packaged cartridges at the base of the barrel kind of how artillery shells are loaded.
But yeah, as much as CIWS benefits from high rate of fire, it also benefits from high projectile velocity and high precision, which having rounds travel different distances inside the barrel doesn't help with.
And packaging guns using that tech can't use standard rounds, which complicates logistics, etc etc.

2 hours? HA! I was stuck for 14 hours because my tank commander (who also was the platoon leader) didn't listen to our driver who was trying to explain that a 62 ton tank can't drive through a swamp. He then proceeded to blame the driver for driving into the swamp in the first place.
>>1155928
>>1155943

Some parts weren't flowing quite as nice as I'd like and you could see an ATGM misfire, which surprisingly the original propaganda video left there presumably because they really had footage of only 2 shots.
