I've never really understood the purpose/appeal of her news show anyway. Do people actually watch it to be informed? It's a good bet that if you're subscribed to YouTube *gamers*, you're probably interested enough in gaming to reasonably keep up with recent goings on, especially with the parts of the gaming world you're particularly interested in. At the very least, the "news" would still be current.

I guess the point I'm making is that I doubt anybody really watches her news show for ... news. I assume they're watching it for the same reason people watched Coffee Time and such. Personality first.

So I feel like she may as well combine the best of both worlds for this kind of format - a Coffee Time News show she can just do on-the-fly, mostly just her vlogging and reacting to new stories (she can either line them up in advance, or just wing it).

It's a compromise, but one that might consolidate. I wouldn't suggest this be her only strategy going forward - this might be a relatively simple way of getting into an all-me routine while she prototypes a few other shows with higher production values ... but I can't imagine her channel getting any significant growth if it continues in its current state.
