Honestly, that clear plastic jacket nearly ruined this movie for me.
It's just brutally retarded in every way.

And now I'm downloading a TV series based entirely on it's cool intro...

I never finished HR because the writing felt like a gigantic step down from the first game. Can somebody please post the Morpheus conversation?

>I don't know what Cyberpunk means.
>>1067342
Just don't think it as a Deus Ex and it's a good game.
>>1064257
Theres 1 second missing at the end, what is it?

Song?

Son of Flynn. Daft Punk, Tron Legacy sountrack.

The source isn't strictly cyberpunk, but it definitely had the same inspirations. This is absolutely a commercial I could see appearing on a television in a cyberpunk setting.

you cant quantify or expect fashion to be a certain way. Who knows. that could've been some high end shit in that universe.
What is fashion? Its effected and affected by culture, current events and even popular opinions/views. You wouldn't know. Not accepting it is okay, but it really was a minor detail.
I thought it was kind of cool.

> shit ending
> terrible boss fights
> weak story
> hero acts like complete retard during cutscenes
Anon, I'm not entirely confident in your good-game identification abilities.

It's quite apparent that you don't.

Escape from New York is weird because it's basically a dead-on match for the tone of cyberpunk but without any cybernetics.

boss fights were redone, as they were originally outsourced due to time constraints, they're now far more applicable to the rest of the game's development and decision making principles. The ending wasn't good. I'll agree, but I rather enjoyed at least one arc in particular, and the general feel/aesthetic to the game practically bests any option for cyber in the modern day. I don't understand at all what you mean by the MC not being cool as fuck. Take off your nostalgia goggles for 8 hours and enjoy something new.

shut the fuck up, idiot.

> boss fights were redone
> redone
> We added 2 disabled turrets in a closet that you can hack and then chuck into the boss arena for them to gun him down for you
> I don't understand at all what you mean by the MC not being cool as fuck
> Minigun boss gets drop on Adam due to nostealth walking in the middle of the fucking room
> Ninjachick boss gets drop on Adam due to just being dumb
> CEO villain gets drop on Adam due to cyborg Asian fever panic room
> Adam plz stop being a retard in cutscenes, nobody ever got the drop on you when I was pushing the buttons.
> take off your nostalgia goggles for 8 hours
> 8 hours
Bitch, please. 8 hours barely gets you escaping UNATCO/MJ-12 in the original.
I never complained about the aesthetics, though. I'll agree that DXHR is a pretty game. Although I do think they went completely the wrong direction for Young Tracer Tong.
