I'm using the Webm for retards in the sticky but I'm having soem problems.

Like, if I reduce the ress (from 1360x768 to 640x360) it will keep the first resolution in the file but lower image quality to the second one. Any way to just make it stay in the second ress (or the one I ask for)?

It's a rom editor, so it's more extensive in that you have access to most of what's in NSMBW, rather than being stuck with what they give you in Mario Maker. The downside is that it's a lot more clunky to get working and more work involved.

The friend in question was the one who made the video by recording the screen, he had it open after the video was taken down, so he recorded with whatever he had at the time (OBS) and uploaded it, that's the one that got featured on gaming sites. I just converted it to webm in case that got taken down.

I sped this one up a bunch to try and shorten it some and did a 2-pass on it. See if it looks better.

I have tried making webms with Shotcut nd other video editors and found it to be tricky to get decent quality/file size with it. I now use webm for bakas and I find it easier to get decent quality with various resolutions/bitrates while keeping the file size below 4MB.

An FPS config makes your graphics look like trash. I use an FPS config therefor my graphics look like trash.

The recording was made with shadowplay which seems to have very little impact on FPS since it's nvidia's own software doing the recording with their own GPU directly as you play.

Also, it may look smooth on the video but even with a 970 TF2 doesn't run too well since it is very poorly optimized, performance has gone out the window over the years update after update and TF2 is mostly a CPU intensive game so you need very good CPUs. Even with my 970 ann i5 4590 i sometimes drop to 40/50FPS and shit.

The other guy used demo files and, most likely, lawena recording tool to make silky smooth videos out of the demo regardless of what FPS he gets when playing.

It's a shame, actually, because the best part of this game was the nemesis system... which they promptly decided NEVER YO USE AGAIN. Presumably because Warner's games division is FULL retard.

I mean, imagine if the instituted the nemesis system in Mad Max? Randomly generating wasteland warlords with unusual skills, abilities and traits? Who sometimes come back to haunt you and so on? Wow, that would have been bitchin.

For those who haven't played Shadows of Mordor, her's the quick notes. Mediocre gameplay, assassins creed style everything, an easymode way of climbing or going ghostly to avoid just about any situatio you can't one-button fight your way out of. BUT featured a system called the Nemesis system.
>all orcs are led by generated bosses.
>bosses have their own heirarchy
>bosses jockey for control, occasionally kill each other
>bosses have unique stats rolled for from a table (strong, cannot be sniped, etc.)
>you can beat a boss, and let him go with a message for his superior
>if a random troop orc kills you, usually he is promoted to boss.
>bosses remember you. Try to adapt based on previous fights. Sometimes try to ambush you if they really hate you.
>sometimes they survive when you leave them for dead. This changes stats. Often makes them angrier, warier, les likely to fall for tricks. But also sometimes puts the fear into them. Makes them intimidated by you. Also shows physical changes.

I fought this one asshole crossbowman uruk 4 goddamn times. I burned him, shot him in the eye, and mauled him with a warg. By the end, he was a mess of leper bandages, with one half his face bolted with metal plate, ghostly pale. And that last time he kept ambusing me with archers, screaming abuse at me, then fleeing when I got too close. He became a named character simply by virtue of how kickass that system was. Why Warner never used it again in a better game is fucking beyond me.
