If you are a decent looking white male with any useful skills Japan is fairly welcoming.
I got a job teaching English 3 years ago and spent most my free time dating and looking for a more long term job. Ended up meeting my wife 6 months ago. Been amazing ride and life is just so much better here then it was in the west.

lost unbelievable hard.
Im 2000 miles away from home in the most gorgeous place ive ever been in my life, yet little did I realize that when I left home in january that I would never see my dog again.
Sure I knew he was getting a little older (12) but little did I expect to get the phone call saying he has but a month to live. A month? I cant get leave until at least 5 months from now, so I think every day that I wish I could go back to that Monday that I left for the airport, anxious about my future life in the air force, not knowing it would be the last time I see my dog.

I have noone to talk to about this and this webm just hit me hard

The original voice actors are nearly always superior.

They're cast by the original creators, they're chosen from a much more vast pool of actors meaning a character has a greater chance of a more appropriate fit for their voice instead of the same generic 1-5 people. And no, despite having a lot more actors in the US these days there are still different studios/firms that control who can act in what. So it's still the same shit problems.

Original creators can give input directly to the actors while the lines are recorded. The animation is set and timed to the original language's pacing, meaning a dub in any other language has to either be modified and fuck with the animation pacing or change lines to be different than originally spoken to fit the existing mouth movements.

Then there's voices that simply just don't exist in localization. No matter who you cast for them it's just not the same.

The only argument I can forgive for dubs is being illiterate or admittedly lazy.

But you can absolutely never deny you're getting an inferior experience.
>>

how?
how am i supposed to live?
everything is a deception of a consequence.
how am i supposed to live right when ive been taught
that everything i do is wrong?
what is it im doing that makes me a failure?
because, from what i've leared, my creation
is a failure.
my creation is the existence of a bar set so high
that when seeing the person that i am,
the person whom set the bar so high
stooped so low, and started to hate my creation.
i am truly grateful of the 'blessings' that have
been put on me, but i am a child.
i do not see the grace that was 'divinely' gifted to me.
after all, i am a failure, so its probably my fault
that i do not see it, its all a failure.
i am a failure.

feels =/= your special snowflake wo is me bullshit
>>
Everything is not a deception of consequence.
It is literally consequence- of your decisions, and of the actions and decisions of those around you. You ask these questions because of one reason. You want answers.
And subconsciously, you ask them because you don't just want answers. You want answers that reinforce your desired self-fulfilling sense of justification to live. You want reasons to exist.
Guess what- you are already fucking existing. You don't need answers to them to live, you don't need people to justify you to live.
All you have to do to live your life, is LITERALLY to live your life. Have hobbies, allow yourself to feel shitty without feeling like anybody else cares- just fucking be alive, in the moment. The faggot comments come from people who are probably on this thread for similar psychological reasons and want to see that others feel this level of desperation to connect. Their asshole-y-ness is a defense mechanism because they do not feel they are in a position to show vulnerability, so neither should you. But hey, you do you, let them do them, whatever makes us all not feel like some of the shit in this thread-
fuck it. let it be.
(and most importantly, fuck it.
let your goddamned self be, too.)

A lot of baseless assumptions in this post.

>>this generation will never understand what it was like
>Well I'm glad that 60 million people don't have to die in another world war for us to "understand what it was like"
Another great war is coming, unless Western Civilization collectively gives up, which I doubt will happen. The sort of things that are happening now are the things that happen before the fall of empires.

>Yeah, literally every generation has had it better than the one before
This is simply not true. Many generations throughout history have been worse than their parents, like the generation living immediately after a devastating famine or war. In fact, millenials are less well off than their parents, and the next generation will be even worse. Many things have been getting worse since WWII ended, including single motherhood, divorce rates, suicide, depression and other mental illnesses, the national debt, interest rates, youth knowledge and skills, etc.

>The irony is that everything you idolize from "those better generations" was their day's equivalent of what you think is so bad now.
Everything I idolize from those better generations is the family unit, fidelity, masculinity, respect for gender roles (like the male provider and the housewife who raises the kids), smaller government, lower taxes, far fewer regressive leftists, and so on. These were not considered bad things at that time.

>isnt that exactly what he fought for?
He probably fought for his people and his country. He probably believed all that stuff about fighting the fascists. Now everything that he fought for has been trampled upon. After the fight against fascism, the US and the UK, for example, ended up becoming more authoritarian and restrictive of civil liberties, having bigger governments and being rigged systems that are bought and paid for by the rich.

The erosion of his culture and the destruction of his values - the very things he fought to protect - is welcomed by many leaders, politicians, and ordinary people in the West. Migrant hordes, which are mostly composed of young military aged men, are welcomed with open borders and open arms. Native birthrates in Western countries are very low and divorce rates are very high, while migrant birth rates are significantly higher. If you look at demographic trends, they show that whites will be a minority in the US in the 2040's and in the UK in 50 years.

I think the problem many people have with the club culture is the shitty music you have to be on drugs to enjoy, drug use and overly-sexualized dancing and clothing.

well, I really dont think most people thought that war would make anything better or for some /pol/ level eugenics shit, most people fought to make it end already

>shitty music you have to be on drugs to enjoy, drug use and overly-sexualized dancing and clothing
well thats just your typical "the good 'ol days/ when I was young" shit. When grandpa was young, there were "clubs", too. And the grandpas back then thought that those clubs were degenerate.

yep, sound like baseless assumptions to me
>>
>>1065346
>non existing statistics or naive interpretation of them
I didn't provide the statistics because I don't have the time or the inclination. They are out there, just type divorce rates or national debt into a search engine. I don't have a naive interpretation of them either.

>opinions
The opinions of the people who fought in the World Wars. They are relevant because the values I listed were shared by more of those people than people today. You implied that was not true.

>fortune telling
It isn't fortune telling. I am making an informed prediction based on historical and current trends. You might as well say the same of anything anyone says about the future if you think that is fortune telling.
>>
>>1065359
>statistics
OK, to be fair here, I'm not even quite sure what country you are talking about. But I think "it's better now, than in WWII" is a generalisation that goes for most.

>These were not considered bad things at that time
my point was that those things arent considered bad things by a lot of people today either

>It isn't fortune telling
no it isnt. I just was a bit hyperbolic, because I'm a cheeky cunt. It is still literally an assumption
>>
>>1065317
Back in the day, niggers weren't so uppity and women knew their place.
>>
>>1065379
>OK, to be fair here, I'm not even quite sure what country you are talking about.
I'm talking about the USA.

>But I think "it's better now, than in WWII" is a generalisation that goes for most.
It's an unsustainable system though, and things are only ostensibly better.
Poverty has stopped decreasing at the same annual rate as it did following WWII, so the elimination of poverty has stagnated. Poverty has even increased some years.
Despite increased funding for education, test scores have flatlined, and there's massive unemployment among young people because they lack the skills their parents and grandparents had. Millenials are more impoverished than their parents were.
Anyway, there many problems in the US and the rest of the west, too numerous to list.

>my point was that those things arent considered bad things by a lot of people today either
Sure, but fewer people value those things now, especially younger people. Just look at marriage, divorce, and birth rates of millenials. Also look at who millenials vote for: Bernie Sanders. The old white people are the people with the strongest support for those values, and they are dying off.

>no it isnt. I just was a bit hyperbolic, because I'm a cheeky cunt. It is still literally an assumption
It's a prediction, and not a baseless one like the Rapture.

> Many things have been getting worse since WWII ended
Post source. Most of the social problems you mentioned have always existed, even though they weren't talked about. As for the debt and interest rates, you should stop talking out of your ass about that as well.
>better generations
You should read The Feminine Mystique. It details how fucked up that society was for both men and women. Women went insane in their homes while men went insane at work, away from their families, toiling away for little reward.
>>

>This is a scare tactic that has been used through the ages. "Unless you follow me, all will fall." It's really tired.
Demographic projections exist, you know. You should look at them.

I suppose it's more accurate to say that things got better after WWII, but then after some point got worse over time. Things like the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965, the welfare state, et fucking cetera have really fucked up the USA.

>debt and interest rates
Look at how much the national debt has increased since WWII, and especially under Obama, you fuckwit.
Interest rates on student loans increased recently, too.

>The Feminine Mystique
Did you know that since the "emancipation" or "liberation" of women, women's happiness has decllined both absolutely and relative to men?

Anyway, I'm probably not going to waste any more of my time arguing with and gathering a multitude of sources for someone who wants to downplay the issues that Western Civilization faces. Unless you make your next post interesting. If you want to know, use a search engine.

Obviously those social problems existed before now, but the problem is that they occur far more frequently now than during or before the 1950's.
